Decide what is the highest priority for you: a happy child, active communication and friendship with peers, the realization of creative or academic potential? Don't get hung up on ratings! Personally, I would recommend a school away from big cities so that children are less distracted.

The educational system in the country is especially attractive for its universities and colleges. There are six universities on the island - among them there are both private and state ones. The advantages of obtaining higher education here are quite a lot:

• Quality teaching that corresponds to European standards, the opportunity to obtain a diploma, highly regarded in Europe and the world;
• Ability to get a double diploma: first study in Cyprus and then transfer to a partner university in the US, Europe or the UK;
• Affordable tuition fees, low cost of living, low-cost food. Specialists of universities always help students with a search for accommodation: it can be a common residence, a rented apartment, a house or apartments - it's quite inexpensive to rent such a dwelling together with other students, and a full-fledged food basket costs even less;
• A great opportunity to work after graduating from university - vocational guidance departments of universities also help graduates find suitable vacancies.
