Frederick University was established in 1965, but received university status only in 2007, previously functioned as a college. University campuses are located in the two largest cities in Cyprus - Nicosia and Limassol.
The university offers a wide selection of specialties in the field of media, art, architecture, business, science, engineering, healthcare, humanities and education.
One of the main principles of the educational institution is a guide to scientific activity. This problem is solved thanks to laboratories equipped to the latest standards. Frederick University invests several million annually to modernize laboratories and purchase the necessary equipment. Over the past 10 years, the university has taken part in 100 scientific research organized by the UN, EU, and the Foundation for the Promotion of Scientific Research.
The university is a member of the IAESTE organization, which is engaged in student exchange programs, and a member of the Erasmus + program. Thanks to this, students can go on a summer internship (6-8 weeks) or on an annual practical education in other universities.

Accommodation, meals, prices
On the campus in Nicosia, modern student dormitories are being built, located very close to the main building of the university and the building of the school of architecture. In Limassol, the university has exclusive access to a number of modern rooms in the brand new Apollonia student dormitories, which are located near the study area.
The university staff will help students in finding suitable housing: from rooms and apartments to apartments and houses for several people. The student will be provided with a list of verified landlords and will be helped to draw up documents.
The campuses have four cafeterias: three in Nicosia and one in Limassol. They always offer hot lunches, snacks, fresh salads and fruits, local drinks. The areas are prepared for a large number of students, creating a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation and communication.
Activities Frederick University
The university is a member of the Cyprus University Sports Federation (CUSF) and has a long history of participation and victories in championships. The SSWS department issues certificates of participation to students who actively participated in student clubs during their studies: such documents are very useful, they can improve the portfolio before starting a career.

Frederick University has two campuses: the main campus is located in Nicosia and the secondary campus in Limassol.

Scholarships Frederick University
Frederick University offers full and partial scholarships based on athletic and academic achievement. Students who are part of the sports teams of the institution and participate in the championships of the Cyprus University Sports Federation (CUSF) are eligible for sports awards.
The institution also awards new full-time students based on their high school performance. The scholarship extends to the first year of study, from the second year students participate in the scholarship program "Scholarships during academic study": this award is based on the overall academic performance for each semester (CGPA) and ranges from 5% to 50% of the cost of tuition.
