The European University of Cyprus dates back to 2007 when it was transformed from the Cyprus College, which in turn was founded by Ioannis Gregorio in 1961. The aim of the educational institution is to provide high-quality, full-fledged education in all available specialties, to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge in close connection with the chosen direction. In 2000, the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs were accredited by the Accreditation Council of the Republic of Cyprus (SEKAP), and today all studying courses have been recognized by colleagues around the world. European University Cyprus respects the high standards of European and American education, offers students effective educational programs and a diploma that is in demand on the international labour market.
There are 4 faculties in the University, 25 undergraduate programs, 4 magistracies and 1 doctoral degree - each accredited by the EU. Most of the teachers (over 85%) are doctors of science: like students, professional teachers come to the educational institution from all over the world and represent more than 35 countries. The university is part of the ERASMUS program, received the prestigious ECTS (European credit transfer system, only 40 European universities are holders of this certificate), is an active member of Laureate International Universities (this association includes 66 universities representing 28 countries). It is also worth noting that the university was one of the first to receive accreditation of its MBA program from the profile MBA association (AMBA). - The common residence is located in the Western Corps: cozy rooms for 1-2 people, each with air conditioning and a bathroom. On the floors in common use are the laundry, the kitchen and the general reception desk (receptionist).
- Student apartments are located near the main educational building - about 10 minutes walk. Students can stay for 1-3 people, each apartment has a bathroom, kitchen and air conditioning, modern comfortable furniture.
The cost of accommodation is from 4 000 euro per academic year.

Despite the size of European University Cyprus, its campus is compact enough and cozy, at the same time equipped with everything necessary for comfortable learning and living. In total, the campus has 4 buildings: South, West, East and the newest North. Modern computer classes and research centers, multimedia laboratories, a library and a studying center, a special video hall and a large number of spacious classrooms are equipped for international students. Students can use the conference hall, their own radio station and TV-studio.
