The UTP Stage I program is designed to prepare students for admission to undergraduate programs in the faculties of humanities and natural sciences, business and economics, and social sciences.
The curriculum consists of eight courses, after which the student will be able to move on to the second stage of preparation. Depending on the goals, students need to choose eight areas of study and score at least 70% in each of them:
- Interdisciplinary Special Topics,

The second stage of preparation for admission to the university takes place in the following specializations:

- Humanities and Social Sciences: Criminology, Game Design and Development, Medical Research, Health Administration, Psychology,

The college campus, shared with the university, offers students several residential buildings.
- Grand River Hall
A five-storey building for 150 students, with suites for 3-7 students, accommodated in single and double rooms. On the first three floors of the building there are common areas: administrative offices, classrooms, a library, laundries.
- Lucy Marco Place
One of the largest buildings of the student residence, offering 112 single rooms and 28 luxury apartments. Each quadruple suite is equipped with two bathrooms, a kitchen with appliances, a living room. The laundry room is located in the basement of the building, and all floors can be reached by elevator.
- Post House
Located in the city center, the three-storey residential building offers 57 single rooms in suites, designed for three, four or seven residents.
- Wilkes House
The residence is located in the Heritage Quarter, in close proximity to the Post House residential building and the Student Center. Wilkes House is a historic building named after one of the founding families of the city. After a complete reconstruction of the building, the residence has 38 single rooms and a double room in seven apartments. Large suites that can accommodate up to eight people are equipped with everything you need: furnished bedrooms, bathrooms, work areas, two refrigerators and much more. The laundry room is located on the third floor.
- Expositor Place
Five floors of living quarters for 216 students, which are accommodated in suites for 3-7 people. There is a laundry room, student and conference rooms, underground parking and small grocery stores.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
The minimum age for applicants is 16 years. All applicants are subject to the following requirements:
- By the level of language proficiency: IELTS (from 5.0), TOEFL iBT (from 60), Cambridge Exam (from B2), Duolingo (from 85) and other equivalent test certificates,
- By level of education: successful completion of 12 classes of secondary school or equivalent (for candidates from Russia - 11 classes of school and a certificate with an average score of at least 3.75 in four subjects, at least 4 points in mathematics),
- According to the documents: passport, medical insurance, visa or residence permit for long-term study in Canada.
You can go to college at the beginning of each semester.
