One of the best schools in Canada, the International Language Academy of Canada (ILAC) is the largest English language learning center for international students from all over the world. Many different programs and courses are designed and taught here: students of any age and level of preparation can choose a convenient and effective option, with any academic and personal requirements. The center has been successfully operating for more than 15 years - during this time, representatives of more than 70 countries of the world were studied here: multiculturalism and internationality have long become the hallmark of the International Language Academy of Canada.

One of the largest schools of the International Language Academy of Canada is located in Toronto. According to UNESCO, this is the world's best city of residence and the safest city in North America. The school is located near the central station of the city underground (Yonge / Bloor), near the building there are also many stops and routes of overland public transport. The area is replete with all the necessary facilities of the city infrastructure: cafes, restaurants, nightclubs, shops and shopping centers. In walking distance there is the largest library in the country and a large, developed linguistic center (note that ILAC students can use them freely and for free!). It is worth noting that the school in Toronto - the official, accredited center for the passing of the international exam TOEFL iBT.

Students are offered two options for comfortable living: it can be a student residence (available to students aged 18 and over) or a host family of Canadians.

• Family

This is the best choice for those who want to feel full immersion in the language and cultural environment, to daily communicate with native speakers, to learn about the Canadian culture and traditions, customs and national characteristics. In communication with native speakers of English you can learn the real, "live" language, understand the features of using a lot of idioms, common spoken expressions, greatly improve the skill of speaking and listening (hearing perceptions).

Pupils in the family are waiting for cozy, fully furnished rooms (usually single rooms, if two students of the same gender live in the house, a bedroom can be provided for two people), and board meals (three times a day all week). Please note that there is a possibility to cook for yourself breakfast or lunch, buying food and using a shared kitchen. Canada is a multicultural country, therefore representatives of your family can represent different ethical groups. But all host families without exception are reliable, honest, respectable citizens who have the opportunity to provide students with maximum comfort and safety.

• Student Residence

This option is suitable for you if you want to communicate with students from different countries, representatives of different cultures and nationalities. The center offers accommodation in several comfortable and spacious residences, which are located in different urban areas, and depending on your preferences and financial possibilities, you can choose the most attractive option (center, prestigious respectable street or slightly more residential area).

In residences students are accommodated in cozy private bedrooms, bathrooms and toilets can be both general and personal - this is confirmed upon prior request. Food is not provided - students prepare for themselves or visit catering establishments, which in Toronto are many. Please note that it is possible to book a residence for at least 4 weeks, and booking should be made at least 2-3 months before the expected arrival.

Studying at the International Language Academy of Canada does not end in the classroom! In order to learn really effectively and with pleasure, there are many excursions, entertainments, walks and leisure: all this helps to consolidate and develop the skills obtained in school, to gain valuable experience of communication and speech interaction, to overcome the language and emotional barriers.

The basic provided activities for students are free (already included in the cost of the program), there are additional paid options. Among the most popular types of recreation and leisure are:

• Visit to the CN Tower and observation deck;
• Trip to Niagara Falls;
• Numerous museums, galleries and art exhibitions: The Royal Ontario Museum, City Art Gallery, Gardiner Museum;
• Sporting events and matches, friendly games, competitions and relay races between pupils;
• Visiting bars and cafes, beer tastings, dance master classes and nightclub parties in Toronto;
• Shopping;
• Walking in parks and picnics;
• Excursion to City Aquarium.

The International Language Academy of Canada offers students free access to high-speed Internet, a modern IT center with the latest equipment and 100 PCs. For relaxation prepared cozy cafeteria and living rooms, you can walk along the waterfront of Toronto - to reach it from the building of the center will not be difficult.
