Why are Canadian schools so popular with families around the world?

Canadian schools are distinguished not only by the quality of their education, but also by their approach to respectful personal development. In a Canadian school, you will not hear rudeness or shouting, which, unfortunately, are so familiar to our schools, they are great at preparing for Western universities.

Educational process

The educational process includes not only classroom lessons, but also outdoor activities, on trips, in an online format: students have access to dozens of Internet portals, resources and ample opportunities for both curriculum and self-development. Teachers actively support the use of modern technologies in the classroom and beyond, helping to adapt and learn how to interact with the Internet in a competent, safe way.

Faculties and colleges

Trafalgar Castle School has two academic departments, each of which educates children of a certain age: middle and high school. The school has a camp during the summer months that offers short-term courses.

Advantages

The Trafalgar Castle School was founded in 1874, and the building of Trafalgar Castle, in which the institution is located today, was built in 1859: originally it was a luxury residential building, which later became a home for the school. This is a true architectural monument of the Elizabethan style, one of the key attractions of the city of Whitby.

Here you can study at both the daily format and live on a boarding school (from the 7th grade and upward, only 70 students live on the campus all the time, both Canadian citizens and foreign students). On average, 13-16 students are involved in one group. The institution is rightly proud of the level of achievement and knowledge of its pupils - over 98% of graduates enter the best rating universities in the USA and Canada:

  • Waterloo University of British Columbia;
  • Western University;
  • McGill University;
  • Carlton University;
  • University of Toronto;
  • Guelph University;
  • Queen's University and many others.

The school has an unusually qualified and experienced teaching team: they constantly cooperate with colleagues around the world, improve knowledge in their field, exchange experience and introduce new methods and technologies into the training program. Suffice it to say that some electives are studied online, and 15-25% of the total study time is the use of the latest information technology. That's why all students need to have their own laptop for better and full training, and even a specific technical model is recommended.

Trafalgar Castle School maintains high academic standards and strives to provide the most quality, comprehensive, full-fledged training for its pupils. The educational institution is not afraid to introduce modern technologies and methods, respects all cultures, nationalities and traditions, seeks to educate in the students unity and cohesion, active civic and social position.
