Quick overview: The core curriculum is defined by the British Columbia Department of Education.

  • In grades 8-10, all students must study math, science, English, a second foreign language, social studies, physical education, and two electives.
  • In 10th grade, students can choose subject groups focused on engineering, design, creative expression, and performing arts.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Harker Hall Residence is open to students in grades 8-12:

  • Students in grades 8-9 are housed together in three or four-bed rooms on the ground floor. No more than 30 students live here, which provides a high degree of attention and supervision;
  • Students in grades 10-11 live in double rooms, where up to 48 students live on one floor. One bathroom for 2 rooms;
  • Grade 12 students live in rooms with a bathroom.

Variety, nutrition and balance are the criteria that the catering department follows in providing students with nutritious meals.

Admission dates and extra charges

Applications from student boarders are accepted until February 1.

Due to the large number of applicants, applications submitted late may be considered after the rest.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

Application for admission:

  • Apply online;
  • Submit supporting documentation (final report cards for the last two years, current report cards, passport copies, resume);
  • Pass the interview;
  • Full Testing (International candidates must register for the Intermediate or Advanced SSAT at the SSAT Testing Center). Once you have registered for your SSAT test date, be sure to include your St. George's School (BC) as recipient so that results are sent automatically upon publication. Grade 10-12 applicants can submit their PSAT, SAT or ACT scores instead of SSAT. For early SSAT reception, student must pass before December 1, for standard - SSAT results are accepted on the basis of tests conducted from September 2020 to February 2021.

Scholarships St. George School Vancouver

Financial assistance is provided to students in grades 8-12.

The deadline for applying for financial assistance for applicants for study and boarding is February 1.
