St. Margaret's School was founded in 1908 by two English sisters, Edith and Isabelle Fenwick, who were soon joined by their friend Margaret Barton. For over 110 years, St. Margaret's School has offered a personalized learning experience in an environment where girls gain confidence and discover their passions. Study programs provide girls with the knowledge, social contacts and determination to succeed in their studies, careers and life. St. Margaret's School is the only girls' school in Vancouver that creates an optimal environment for achievement.
Depending on the level of English proficiency, foreign students can start their studies in the language learning program. The International English Program includes:

Required documents:
- Online application;
- Transcript - completed by previous or current academic supervisor (teacher, principal, consultant, etc.);
- A copy of the final statement for the last year;
- Copy of the report card;
- Copy of the applicant's birth certificate, passport or permanent resident status;
- Applicant's recent photo;
- Testing in English is required for those applicants whose native language is not English;
- SSAT (optional).
Scholarships St. Margaret School
- St. Margaret's School participates in the Financial Aid to Canadian Students (FACS) program run by Apple Financial Services. Although this program is for Canadian families, all families in need of financial assistance can apply through FACS.
- A scholarship based on financial needs can be awarded as part of the tuition fee. Both new and returning students can apply.
