Summer Camp in Los Angeles is based on the Loyola Marymount University (LMU) University, which was founded in 1911. LMU has been repeatedly recognized as one of the most beautiful and most promising universities in America.

Los Angeles is a city located in the south of California in the USA. It is known throughout the world as the "City of Angels", the capital of the film industry, but in this city there is also a huge number of transnational companies, banks, economic, educational and scientific centers. This city is known all over the world for its unique culture, in which the traditions of different nations have merged. All this gives students an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the culture of America, as well as visit the most interesting sights, including famous museums and art galleries, beautiful theaters and concert halls, modern sports stadiums, majestic parks and much more.

This program will allow students not only to significantly improve their English skills, but also get acquainted with the culture of the country, find friends from different countries. In the course of the course, students will noticeably raise the level of the spoken language, enrich their vocabulary, and experienced teachers will help to understand various grammatical constructions.

On Tuesday and Thursday from 13:30 to 15:00, cultural seminars are held where students and adolescents can take part in lively discussions related directly to their day or to a guided tour.

Summer + Trip (Summer camp + week trip along the California coast)

  • Number of English lessons per week: 20
  • Time of classes: 9.00-12.30
  • Average group size: 8 (max. 10).

This educational program is identical to the standard summer camp program. A feature of the course is a week-long sightseeing trip (at week 3 or week 4), in which students and adolescents will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the beautiful coast of California. Students will visit cities such as San Francisco, Carmel, Monterey and Santa Barbara.

Please note that meals are not included in the price of the week-long trip to the California coast.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Students are accommodated on the campus of the famous University of California-University Loyola Marymount. Students live in apartments in the southern part of one of the most beautiful campuses of Los Angeles.

Children and adolescents are accommodated in rooms designed for two people. Each apartment (2 rooms) has its own modern kitchen, living room (shared room) and bathroom. The rooms are equipped with a wired Internet plus a wireless Wi-Fi network on the residence territory. There is a laundry in the building, which all students can use. Meals are provided on the basis of a full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

The residence has a high level of security: the territory is in charge of the university security department, and the entrance to the rooms is carried out using electronic cards.

Los Angeles Summer Camp for Children and Adolescents offers a large selection of daytime and evening extracurricular activities, which gives pupils additional opportunities for practicing language, playing sports and exploring the city. A wide range of different activities takes place from Monday to Friday and includes:

On weekends, students can get acquainted with the southern states of California, such as Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive, the Venice beach and Six Flags Magic Mountain, Santo-Barbaru and San Diego, as well as world-famous Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood .

Facilities and equipment at LMU Los Angeles Summer Camp

The eduaction takes place at the University of Loyola Marymount, which is located on an area of ​​128 acres. The university building is located on the top of a picturesque hill above the town of Marina Del Rey, where students can observe a magnificent picture - the horizon of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean.

The university building is located in a residential area 10 minutes' drive from Los Angeles Airport. At the disposal of students is the modern equipment of the university, beautiful sports grounds, an outdoor swimming pool and a cozy green area for walks and meetings with friends. The campus is guarded around the clock, which ensures the safety of children and adolescents.

Summer Camp runs from June - July and offers several programs for its students. The cost depends on the chosen program and its duration.
