Founded in 1986, the prestigious and popular educational network FLS adheres to the principle of "Learning English as a native language": international students have to study in informal, relaxed conditions. About the educational program: spending a winter vacation in California at the prestigious Citrus College in FLS Discover California camp is a great way to quickly improve your language skills, to spend time with pleasure and benefit in the company of new friends from around the world!
The curriculum includes 18 lessons per week: there is the opportunity to take a more intensive course (+6 thematic classes devoted to the most difficult language aspects and topics). The winter course will help to comprehensively improve all the main, basic language skills and abilities:
- Grammar;
- Reading;
- Listening (listening perception);
- Vocabulary (active vocabulary expansion);
- Writing;
- Speaking (spoken English);
- Phonetics (correct pronunciation, accent correction);
- Improving communication skills.
It is possible to book an intensive academic course (36 lessons per week), to supplement your studies with preparation for the TOEFL or TOEIC exams (24 lessons per week + 12 thematic preparatory classes), as well as to take individual lessons with an experienced, qualified teacher.
In addition to lessons, a rich extra-curricular program is being prepared for students - these are exciting and fun activities on campus, sports studios, creativity and excursions, as well as a huge number of excursions to the most famous cities and places of California and the USA:

All FLS Discover California program members live in host families. They are provided with comfortable, cozy, fully furnished rooms for 2 people each, half board meals are provided on weekdays (breakfasts and dinners, on weekends - only breakfast). Also included in the room rate is a group transfer in both directions (Los Angeles Airport).

FLS Discover California's leisure and entertainment program helps children quickly overcome the language and communication barriers, learn to communicate in English in a relaxed and dynamic environment. Students go to Hollywood, the Old Town of Pasadena, Disneyland, the legendary Beverly Hills area, stroll along the beach, enjoy the sun, and engage in active sports. For them on the campus are arranged various quizzes and competitions, competitions and shows, theme parties and discos. Also regularly groups of students go to museums and art galleries, to theaters and cinema, huge amusement parks and attractions, shopping and entertainment centers.
