Champittet College is a well-known and respected school that has been providing effective educational programs for foreign students and Swiss citizens for more than 100 years. Studying can begin literally from a kindergarten and continue it until admission to the best universities in Switzerland, France and the world. The college follows the world traditions and standards of education, constantly develops, complements and improves its programs and technical equipment to provide students with the highest quality academic services and comfortable conditions. In 2006, the college introduced educational programs in 2 languages ​​- French and English.

The school campus is located in Lausanne: the total area of ​​the territory reaches 40,000 square meters. The prestigious school is very close to Lake Geneva, the Olympic Museum, city and cultural attractions, so finding an interesting lesson in your free time is not difficult. Thanks to the small distance to the international airport (55 kilometers), a direct and return transfer of students will also not be difficult and will not take much time.

Every summer, Champittet College organizes a modern summer language camp: it attracts students from all over the world with its balanced, interesting program, which harmoniously combines academic pursuits and rich leisure, sports and entertainment.

Quick overview: A combined program of effective language learning and an interesting leisure program - what could be better for summer vacations?

About the educational program: The minimum duration of the program is 2 weeks, at the student's request it can be extended. 
Academic schedule - 20 lessons per week. Duration of each lesson is 45 minutes. Admission requirements - from basic level of French language (Beginner). Arrivals are held on Mondays, and departures on Sundays.

The program is conditionally divided into 3 variant:

  • Camp A (first two weeks);
  • Camp B (last two weeks);
  • Camp C (all 4 weeks of training and work camp).

Additionally, each student can choose a priority of the daily program of activities: 

  • Mountain sport activities;
  • Water activities;
  • Creative block.

Educational groups are small (up to 15 international students). It allows the teacher to practice an individual, personal approach, more closely monitor the successes and achievements of each student, pay close attention to difficult topics and aspects, adjusting curricula if necessary. Each student receives maximum attention, which positively affects the effectiveness of training, its productivity and the speed of language progress.

All participants of the summer program live in cozy and comfortable residences directly on the school grounds. In the morning they are waiting for group sessions, dedicated to the main aspects of the language, and after dinner and in the evening you can go in for sports, take a walk with friends, go on an excursion or participate in one of the many leisure activities.

The result of the educational program:

  • Significantly improve the language level;
  • Devote time to recreation and entertainment;
  • Find new friends;
  • Explore the unique natural and architectural monuments of Switzerland.

EXAMPLE SCHEDULE OF THE DAY:

  • 8:00 - beginning of the day;
  • 8:30 - breakfast;
  • 9:00 - 11:50 - group classes, language lessons;
  • 11:50 - School general meeting;
  • 12:00 - lunch;
  • 13:00 - 18:00 - daytime activities, sports and entertainment, excursions and walks;
  • 19:00 - dinner;
  • 20:00 - 22:00 - evening activities, entertainment, games and leisure;
  • 22:30 - End of the day.

Tuition fee includes:

  • Educational program;

  • Initial testing to determine the level of knowledge;
  • The certificate of the school after graduation;

Accommodation, meals, prices

All participants of the summer program Champittet College Summer Camp are accommodated in a cozy, comfortable and secure residence directly on campus. Fully furnished rooms for 1-2 people are prepared for international students, on each floor there is a common living room for students' rest. The cost of the program is already included meals by type of full board (three times a day), as well as use of laundry.

Activities and sections that Champittet College students attend are dependent on the chosen program - mountain, creative or water. For example, the first session of the program "Mountain adventures" looks like this:

  • 2. Visit to the adventure park in Egle
  • 3. Getting on leasing
  • 4.Alpine canyoning
  • 5.Campaign to Vale, overnight in the hut and climbing the glacier.

The first session of "Water Adventures" includes:

  • 1. Checking the swimming skills in the pool
  • 2. The rafting (the Sarina River)
  • 3. The introductory course of windsurfing
  • 4. Introductory course of water canyoning
  • 5. Exercising on Lake Zhu, overnight stay
  • 6. Competitions and relay races on the lake
  • 7.Sliding in water skiing.

The first session of the creative program is as follows:

  • 1.Excursion to Lausanne
  • 2.Master class: photography
  • 3.Master class: website development and web design
  • 4.Television and choreographic skills
  • 5 .Master class: decoration
  • 6. Preparation for the closing ceremony of the camp shift.

In the evenings, students of the Champittet College are offered a variety of themed events, games and parties. It can be a poker tournament or a quasar, "Games without borders", an excursion to Montreux, Lausanne, Lucerne, Geneva or the port of Ushi, a barbecue on the shore of Lake Leman. There are trips on maps, bowling tournaments, cooking lessons and competitions, football matches, discos and etc.
