Located on the basis of one of the best Swiss schools in the picturesque and cozy Lausanne, the summer camp will give students the opportunity to meet new friends from all over the world (in 120 years of work the school was visited by representatives of 160 countries!), Having fun and having fun, Something new, to get acquainted with the most famous and amazing sights of hospitable Switzerland. About the educational program: Summer courses Brillantmont International School Summer Camp have been held for more than 30 years: every summer new students from all over the world come here. A balanced program allows children to improve their language level, and it's great to have fun and relax with new friends, and to travel around the amazingly beautiful Switzerland, to view its key and famous sights, natural beauties.

The duration of the program can be from 2 to 6 weeks - each student chooses the terms himself, focusing on their desires, requirements and opportunities.

English classes are held from Monday to Friday. The school day is divided into two halves:

  • First, children are engaged in learning grammar, working on expanding the vocabulary;
  • Then they actively develop communicative and speech skills, try to make spoken (oral) English more correct and fluent.

Excursions planned for summer groups, as well as all recreational activities, help to consolidate the knowledge gained in the classroom. Travel is usually scheduled for Wednesday and Sunday.

International students twice a week receive homework, topics for mini-research projects and scientific papers. On Fridays, small screening tests are conducted: so teachers can be sure of the progress of each child. At the end of the program, each student receives a corporate diploma of the camp, where all his achievements and achieved language level are marked, and all the work performed during the course (they can be shown to parents or a personal teacher).

Accommodation, meals, prices

Participants of summer vacation programs live in a cozy spacious school residence: the rooms are designed for 1-3 people, furnished with all necessary furniture and appliances. When settling, the boys are placed separately from the girls, also when the rooms are filled, the age of the child is taken into account - he lives with his peers. The whole territory is carefully guarded around the clock, with the children constantly being educators, counselors and teachers - you can be absolutely sure of the comfort and safety of your child.

Board meals are organized in the school's spacious cafeteria-mostly traditional French cuisine (vegetarian, dietary, and religious rations can be made on a particular issue).

There is an interesting, rich and varied program of recreation and entertainment for children in their free time, a suitable activity is available for everyone, so that children will not get bored!

There is a minimum of 1 excursion per week of stay The whole day 1-3 trips for several hours. Cognitive and fascinating excursions allow you to explore key attractions, the most memorable cities and natural values of Switzerland:

  • Lausanne;
  • Geneva;
  • Bern;
  • Arolla (rock climbing and a walk through the glaciers);
  • Climbing the Alpine foothills, hiking and trekking;
  • Caves of Vollorba;
  • Salt underground mines in Bex;
  • Aquaparks;
  • Karting in the mountains;
  • Visit to a large dam, etc.

At least 4 days a week, international students have the opportunity to attend sports games, trainings and electives in the afternoon - the list of available options is very large:

Water sports are held on the shores of Lake Geneva only in good weather, under the strict supervision of professional instructors and rescuers. At all trainings with children there are instructors and qualified trainers on the sites.

In the evening, to relax from electives and language lessons, children can attend a variety of leisure activities organized directly on campus:

  • Intelligent quizzes;
  • Sports tournaments and competitions, various relay races and mini-Olympic games;
  • Joint screenings;

Facilities and equipment at Brillantmont International School Summer Camp

The general campus consists of 8 modern and spacious buildings: beautiful green gardens surround them, where children can rest on fine days. All the furnishings and equipment of the buildings are modern and new, although many buildings were built in the 1880s! The charm of antiquity and all the necessary infrastructure for learning and recreation is the main advantage of the summer camp.

The campus is located in Lausanne: it is a fairly large and developed city in the French-speaking canton of Switzerland. Lausanne is located near the beautiful, clean Lake Leman (it is the Lake of Geneva), literally at the foot of the Swiss Alps. In Lausanne, there are always interesting cultural and entertainment events, theater and music festivals; On weekends students go on excursions to key sights, they can go to the theater or cinema, go shopping or have lunch in one of the cozy restaurants that represent the diverse cuisine of the world.
