The International School of Management (ISM) is a private university accredited by the German State Commission and specializing in international business, management and marketing. The Dortmund campus was founded in 1990 and is by far the largest among ISM's teaching areas. It is surrounded by a thriving technopark and is just 15 minutes from the city centre.
The training ground is a large area with several buildings prepared for learning with the help of new technologies. Projectors and interactive whiteboards are installed in the lecture classes, the library is equipped with a large book depository and reading room, and for recreation the courtyard and several areas inside the buildings are ennobled.

The admission process includes several stages:
