The summer camp at Dublin Technological University (formerly the Dublin Institute of Technology) is an exciting summer learning experience at the largest university in Ireland with a long history and tradition. City Experience is an ideal choice for middle and high school students who would like to enjoy the free multicultural atmosphere of the largest university in Ireland. The program offers a system of English lessons aimed at improving students' ability to communicate effectively in everyday life. Classes are taught by qualified native speakers.

Thanks to the experience of the City Experience program, students will find out what Dublin is famous for, why it was named the third most friendly city in the world. The course offers an optimal combination of academic classes and free time for exploring the city, excursions, events that allow camp participants to feel the local flavor. Dublin is imbued with cultural trends: from modern galleries to daily musical performances on the streets. Surrounded by the sea, it brings a sense of nature and peace in its surroundings.

Apprentice Experience - 12-17 years old - 950 €

  • Dates: 30/06 - 11/08.

The Apprentice Experience is a one-of-a-kind program, which is a combination of learning English and six hours a week of thematic project work. The goal of the program is to form an idea of the actual production of objects among the camp participants. Training includes communication with professionals representing practical applications of subject theory. Each week is devoted to a specific topic and is based on group work on the project. Three weekly themes are available during the summer weeks, including Product Design, Global Awareness and Go Viral.

Apprentice Experience students visit local businesses weekly, learning from the real experience of professionals. This program is suitable for adolescents who are thinking about which business direction they can choose in today's labor market. Classes are held in the modern TU Dublin campus. The program of events includes, in addition to visiting production companies and meetings with experts, general and individual recreational activities.

Accommodation, meals, prices

The camp participants are located in single and standard rooms with private bathrooms, access to Wi-Fi. Students are supervised around the clock.

  • Visit the Science Gallery, Trinity College Science Center, Dublin, Ireland. Opened in 2008 and located in Trinity College, the gallery holds many exhibitions and lectures to promote science. Unlike most scientific centers, there is no permanent collection here, but there is a series of 3-4 temporary exhibitions per year.
