Ontario Youth Apprenticehip (OYAP) Program
The Collingwood Access curriculum is developed and adopted throughout the province of Ontario: it is aimed at the possibility of obtaining a specific working qualification without separation from the school. Schoolchildren who have reached the age of 16 and who have at least 16 credits (credits) according to the senior grade standard are allowed to participate. The course involves close cooperation between students, teachers, companies and parents. Through this program, employers not only find future talented employees, but also help them become more competent and develop in the direction that the industry requires. All students receive a special certificate.
Accommodation, meals, prices
Pupils are housed in the homes of local residents, which gives them a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the culture and customs of the country, to be in a safe and comfortable home environment. All families go through a process of careful selection and are monitored by the relevant authorities. Stuednts are provided with a separate bedroom, work area and full three meals a day. Guardianship is provided for students under the age of 18 years. Houses are located in close proximity to the place of study.
