Teachers introduce students to the world of art, its theoretical foundations, students learn to interpret literary texts, dance and theater plays. The musical course introduces students to the elements of musical creativity and composition, a strong emphasis is placed on using and understanding basic terminology. Pupils of 4-8 classes develop their singing and playing (instrumental) abilities.

Developing a healthy attitude towards the physical side of life, a lifestyle is crucial to the personal and academic success of students. Physical education includes weekly swimming lessons with qualified instructors, where special attention is paid to the development of students' individual skills.

Secondary School - grades 9-12

Secondary School provides a favorable learning environment for young people who are preparing to receive education in high school, colleges and subsequently - universities. The curriculum takes into account the needs, interests and modern pedagogical achievements, and is aimed at preparing students for continuing education in an international context.

The language center provides support for ESL and works year-round. All students can apply to participate in a program to learn English as a second language, subject to the requirements of the course. At the second stage of education, students develop an understanding of concepts, practical interpretations and reasoning. They study historical and cultural sources, rely on real and imagined situations, learn how to construct, to compose and relate knowledge and skills in a variety of dynamic contexts. Thanks to a strong language program, students are prepared for a complex and fascinating academic load of the senior classes.

The homework club works daily under the supervision of a qualified faculty, giving students and their families the opportunity to do their own business after school, without losing their homework from the focus. A library, computers and other technical resources are available to all students during this period.

All students take part in the work of clubs, sports teams. According to the teachers of the school, the balance of educational and extracurricular activities - inter-school educational and sports programs, clubs of interest is of great importance.

Bond Academy was recognized in ranking of schools in Ontario 2017 according to the Scarborough Mirror (section "Choice of readers"). The school is an active member of the community, providing employees and students with the opportunity to devote their time to numerous charitable and non-profit endeavors, which allows students to develop civic responsibility, an understanding of the significance of social values. Participation in volunteer projects implements the requirement of a 40-hour social burden, mandatory for secondary school students (graduation requirements of the OSSD).

Recommendations on when to apply

Language courses, schools and children's language camps Primary and secondary education - private schools Preparation programmes for entering universities - higher education Higher education (after completing accredited programs A-level, IB, High School) - Bachelor, Master, MBA
- we recommend to apply 6-9 months before the start of the course (some camps and schools offer discounts for early booking or for lengthy study programs)
- there are some very popular and high demand children's camps, where the applications need to be submitted 1 year in advance (in particular Switzerland , Great Britain , USA , Canada , Austria)
- we recommend to apply one year before the start of the training program,
- some schools have a specific time frame (September-November - please specify an individual school)
- some schools require tests in several stages (UKISET, internal tests of the school: English, mathematics, logics, subjects, interview, some require a personal visit)
- we recommend to apply one year before the start of the program,
- for Foundation and Pathway programs, IELTS and TOEFL certificates are usually required, respectively
