Auckland College is an institution that provides the highest quality education for children from 3 to 16 years old.

The college's curriculum is aimed at the versatile and effective development of students. At the end of each year, the school confirms its success, because most students receive the highest marks in basic subjects and electives.

The college has been operating since 1991. It received its current name in 1995, when one of the students - an 11-year-old student - proposed to call the institution Auckland College. After several changes of location in 1996, the institution settled in Wales and accepted 60 people for the program. By 2000, more than 300 students were studying here – the news of a good education in comfortable conditions spread very quickly.

Now the number of students exceeds the mark of 400 people. The school has received all the necessary accreditations, constantly appears in the ratings of the best educational institutions in the UK.

Kindergarten College provides exceptional care for children in a safe, caring and fulfilling environment, inspiring them to grow and reach their full potential through key skills and values.

A balanced curriculum follows the basic stages of students' maturation. In a playful way, the basics of academic subjects, social and interpersonal relationships, security, healthy lifestyles and other important areas will be studied. Children develop early math skills, learn to read books and listen attentively, play together and interact.

The child can be in the kindergarten from 7:30 to 13:00, from 13:00 to 18:00 or all day. The cost also depends on the time spent in the group: from 30 to 52 £.

Children are divided into age groups:

  • "Buttercup" - from 0 to 14 months,
  • "Bluebell" and "Daisy" – from 14 to 24 months,
  • "Snowdrops" and "Daffodils" - from 24 to 36 months,
  • "Sunflowers", "Tulips" - from 30 to 36 months.

Pre-Prep School

  • Age - from 3 to 5 years.

The first years of a child's education are crucial for his overall personal development. Employees focus on stimulating the child's ideas and passion for learning, exerting a strict influence on his ability to master the basics of reading, writing and mathematical calculations, on which further learning depends. By the time children leave prep school, they will be 12 months ahead of their peers from other institutions in reading, writing and counting.

Pre-Prep School offers a unique educational program that provides inclusive childcare for 51 weeks from 7:30 to 18:00.

Prep School

The aim of the Auckland College Preparatory School is to effectively prepare boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 11 to enter secondary school. Instruction is built on the foundation laid down in Pre-Prep, so children already have educational experience, and the warm relationship established between staff and students helps for several years.

The Preparatory School, like pre-Prep, provides outstanding independent education for 51 weeks from 7:30 to 18:00. The curriculum, based on the national curriculum, includes the study of English and mathematics, natural sciences, physical and social education.

The older the students get, the more the program becomes more complicated. Thus, from the third grade, new subjects are included in the schedule, and by the end of the sixth grade, students already have a strong confidence in their academic abilities.

Secondary School

  • Age - from 12 years.

Secondary school grades 7 to 11 are gaining an increasing reputation for supporting academic and personal development, which effectively prepares boys and girls for final examinations.

The curriculum of the first three years of high school is balanced, which gives students a chance to engage not only in studies, but also in personal development. Thanks to an innovative approach to teaching, the school provides a schedule with many disciplines included in it. This format allows students to choose an interesting direction for them and prepare for the beginning of their careers.

Ninth-graders are intensively preparing for the GCSE, studying compulsory subjects: English language and literature, natural sciences, ICT and mathematics. They also choose three more disciplines from a list of electives: history, geography, business studies, Spanish and others.

Accommodation, meals, prices

A breakfast club is organized at the school for Pre-Prep-Year 6 students. Every day from 7:30 to 8:20 students can enjoy a large selection of dishes: from cereals to pancakes.

Most children bring morning snacks from home. Only healthy food is allowed in the institution, so vegetables, fruits, yogurts, bars and other products that do not contain allergens are allowed.

In the Auckland College kitchen, all meals are prepared with fresh produce and every day. Students are offered various options: hot meals, vegetarian and halal food, sandwiches, salads, pastas and much more. The menu of lunches and afternoon snacks works on a two-week cycle, respectively, is updated regularly and published on the official website of the school in advance. Staff are attentive to children with special dietary needs and follow all parental recommendations.

Afternoon snacks are provided to all students from Pre-Prep to Year 6 who stay at the After School Club.

The cost of participation in the club breakfast, meals during lunch and afternoon snack are included in the tuition fee.

Activities Auckled College in Liverpool

The school has an after-school group, which works until 18:00. Children of junior and primary grades are engaged in creativity and music, work on projects and homework, relax.

Activities begin daily at 15:00 and are scheduled to students at the beginning of each semester. The extended curriculum includes a variety of activities, such as golf, cooking and language learning.

Extracurricular activities for secondary school take place every day from 15:00 to 16:00 and focus on in-depth study of subjects, as well as additional preparation for exams.

The annual Sports Day is dedicated to a healthy lifestyle. Students will be able to show themselves at various competitions, find a new occupation for themselves and earn awards.

The school supports national and local charity events throughout the year through fundraisers. In 2021, the institution raised money for Comic Relief, Jeans for Genes, and other organizations.

Educational excursions and trips are held regularly to help children learn about the world around them. Students study both Liverpool and its environs, as well as nearby cities in the UK, galleries, museums, exhibitions and theatrical productions will be available for visits. The youngest students will be able to visit Farmer Teds and Selton Park to get acquainted with pets and study zoology, veterinary medicine, and the basics of animal husbandry. At the end of each semester, all students go out for recreational activities organized as a reward for academic success.

Throughout the school year, third-party specialists, teachers and successful entrepreneurs are invited to the school, who conduct seminars and master classes in various fields. In this way, students will be able to gain applied experience in the topic of interest to them, learn a lot of new things and personally get acquainted with successful people.

The campus also has a library with a reading room, where students can find both educational and fiction literature, engage in self-education and work on homework.

Auckland College provides bus services to the school from Merseyside. This gives families a convenient and cost-effective way to arrange their child's trip to the classrooms. The bus arrives at the school shortly before class starts and departs after the last lesson.

Admission dates and extra charges

The duration of the school year is 9-10 months. Students are educated in semesters, between which long holidays are organized. The youngest students study for 51 weeks. This period includes activities during the holidays – this approach gives parents the opportunity not to worry about children during working hours.

The school day starts around 7:30 and lasts until 16:00. The doors of the school are open until 18:00, at the same time the group of extended education is closed.
