The Royal School Dungannon is one of the oldest schools in Ireland: its year of foundation is defined as 1608-1614. The institution was founded by the Royal Charter at the behest of King James I, which explains the commitment to traditional moral values, the traditions of British and Irish education. But this does not mean that the Royal School of Dungannon does not continue to improve: as a result of the recent large-scale modernization, the campus has been substantially updated - now the classrooms, sports infrastructure, residences and auditorium are fully in line with the world's highest education standards. At the same time, the spirit and charm of antiquity are preserved here, historical grand buildings and structures are present that help children to adapt more quickly to the cultural and linguistic environment of the host country.

The Royal School Dungannon occupies a large enough territory - a well-groomed, green area in the suburb of the eponymous city of Dunnagon. The distance to the nearest international airport Belfast is 65 kilometers, to Belfast City - 71 kilometers, and from Dublin the school separates 146 kilometers.

The school staff treats each student as a full-fledged, unique personality with a unique set of qualities, talents, abilities and inclinations. In addition to academic achievement, great attention is also paid to comprehensive development (creative, emotional, sporting), to the education of valuable social qualities. Students develop an interest and a desire for knowledge, a healthy desire to achieve high goals, the ability to quickly navigate in new circumstances and find non-standard solutions to emerging difficulties.

Close emotional contact is established between teachers and students: the teacher is always ready to give valuable advice, recommendation for further education, to come to the aid in difficult cases. Teachers convince foreign students of the idea that good and outstanding results can be obtained only after a hard, long, work, instill in children a sense of curiosity and inquisitiveness of the mind. The curriculum of the school is quite complex and makes high demands on children - but the results of such stubborn studying are excellent: according to statistics, 95% of graduates successfully enter selected universities all over the world, including those as prestigious as Oxford. Based on the results of the A-level exams (version of The Telegraph, 2014), the school entered the TOP-100 throughout the country. For foreign students, the English language support program (TEFL) is organized, helping to develop academic and basic language skills, to learn the language practically at the level of the carrier, and quickly and effectively absorb the teaching material in the classroom.

The Royal School of Dungannon maintains partnerships with many other schools, sports clubs and academies, spiritual and business organizations, business centers and large corporations.
