Description of The Royal High School for girls

Founded in 1998, The Royal High School for Girls quickly earned a steady reputation as one of the best schools for young ladies.

The new school includes the Royal School guesthouse and the Bath High School day-care institution: today girls (both British and foreign school girls) are from 4 to 18 years old. The school is conditionally divided into two sections:

  • Junior classes
  • Senior classes (located next door in own ancient mansion with a separate educational center for representatives of the Sixth Form).

The students and graduates of the Royal High School for Girls demonstrate excellent academic results, constantly occupy the top positions in the national rankings of private boarding schools (especially in the GCSE and A-level exams). Separately it is worth noting excellent linguistic education: here you can study in-depth many modern foreign languages (French, Spanish, Chinese, German, Italian and some others). Foreign schoolgirls can attend additional supportive classes in English, work with translators.

The school offers full-time education, full board and a weekly boarding school (in the latter case, girls spend the week at school, and go home or host families on weekends).

With all the academic intense, complex curriculum, the students have free time of classes in the school: to study here pleasantly, comfortably, calmly, the girls begin to feel at home from the first days, the care and attention of all school staff without exception. The staff seeks to raise real ladies, closely follows the psychological and moral development of their pupils, understands the difficulties of teaching and upbringing in the transition years. Girls are taught to be useful members of society, independent and harmonious personalities, to live in harmony with themselves and their friends, relatives.
