Founded in 1542, the private School of Dawnsey's School (Dauntsey's school) is currently on the list of the best academic schools in the UK (according to Bestschools in 2010 it ranked 11th as the best school of co-education), is a full-time active member of the HMC association. The campus is located only one and a half to two hours from London, which gives the students ample opportunities for leisure, recreation and excursions, and the total area of ​​the territory reaches 150 acres.

The total number of students reaches 800, of which about 300 people study on a boarding basis, with accommodation and meals at the campus residence. According to statistics in 2011, 8 graduates of Dauntsey's school were able to enroll in Cambridge. Accommodation, meals, prices

Five comfortable spacious residences have been prepared for the children who have chosen accommodation on the campus basis: 1 Manor house is fully reserved for 11-14 year old students, the rest (Mercers' House, Fitzmaurice House, Evan's House, Jeanne House) for high school students (14-18 years). Residences are constantly updated and modernized so that students' living conditions fully correspond to high modern standards. In the houses there is a warm, family atmosphere, teachers and educators surround the children with care, sincere attention, strive to give them the maximum level of comfort and safety.

Junior students live in dormitories (each designed for 5 people), middle and high school students can occupy bedrooms for 1-2 people - private rooms are usually given to graduates, as they need more privacy, silence and personal space for qualitative preparation for difficult final exams. Each residence has an equipped small kitchen, as well as a cozy living room for rest, communication, games and watching TV and movies.

Facilities and equipment at Dauntsey's school

Dauntsey's school infrastructure includes all the necessary equipment and facilities for study, recreation and entertainment, sports and creativity. Children are engaged in spacious, technically equipped classes, have access to computer rooms and a library, functional scientific laboratories. There is a separate music school, its own concert hall (1200 seats), studios for creativity and art workshops, even its own chapel! For sports exercises you can visit a large swimming pool with heated water (the length of the tracks is 25 meters), all-season tennis courts (there are 12 of them), as well as numerous sports fields and grounds, including 2 large fields with professional artificial surfaces.

All applicants who plan to study at Dauntsey's school undergo a personal interview, test their level of language knowledge and tests in logic and mathematics - usually examinations are held in the winter, mid-January and early February.
