GCSE
The GCSE course is designed for two academic years and for schoolchildren from 14 to 16 years (the students start preparing for the program from the age of 12). Studied as compulsory subjects (4-5), and elective disciplines, which the student can choose independently (usually 5-7 directions).
According to the statistics of the school, about 60% of students take exams for the highest scores ("excellent" and "very good"). The A-level program lasts 2 academic years and is designed for high school students from 16 to 18 years. Self-selection of subjects and the definition of academic profile helps to prepare as efficiently as possible for admission to the chosen specialty and faculty, giving maximum attention to priority areas of knowledge.
