Summer English course for children and schoolchildren

A balanced academic Program of English for the summer will help to quickly and effectively raise the level of English through interactive, dynamic lessons. The emphasis is on the development of communicative abilities, motivation, which increases the benefits of lessons - children become more diligent, begin to see interest and passion in learning. Using English every day, in and out of the classroom, the child will quickly immerse himself in a new language environment and begin to progress regardless of what level he arrived at the camp with.

After arrival, all children undergo testing, which distributes them into groups according to the level of knowledge - so learning becomes more effective, narrowly focused.

Teachers of the camp have special training and experience in working with foreign students, they analyze real situations, historical and funny facts in the lessons, use modern sources and the media.

Art Supplement: Summer Course in Creativity and Art

Thematic course for students who are interested in theater and performing arts - here they will be able to reveal new facets of their talent! Suitable for those who dream of becoming actors, and those who like to perform in public and want to get the maximum pleasure from staying in summer camp.

To the traditional 15 Lessons of English each week, 9 lessons/master classes on dramatic skill are added. Students will develop their stage and performing abilities, work solo and in a group, put on small performances by the end of each shift, to which they will be able to invite friends and relatives. Camp participants will learn:

  • Apply English in a theatre environment
  • Work with voice
  • Work with body language, expression, expression of emotions
  • Write scripts
  • Analyze the language and subtleties of different screenwriters, writers, playwrights, the possibility of their staging on stage
  • Work as a team for a common view

Michael Owen's Red Stars Football School: a football camp for children and schoolchildren

  • Age: 8-17 years (both boys and girls are accepted)
  • Dates: July 3-31
  • Level of English: any, from Beginner to Advanced
  • Duration: 2 weeks
  • Number of students per class: up to 15.

The popular course will teach football to beginners and help improve their serve to those who have long been ill with this sport! The programme was created by renowned specialist Michael Owen and endorsed by Mark Wright, the former captain of Liverpool FC and the English national team.

Every week, children will find 15 effective football trainings in small groups. What the football program implies:

  • Working with Red Star Coaches
  • Working on individual skills and honing team play
  • Practicing key skills: ball handling, passes, agility, choosing the right position and tactics, defensive and attacking game
  • Meetings with living football legends, players of international class, joint games, photos and autographs for memory: the England national team or 6 top English clubs. For example: Robbie Fowler, Robbie Savage, Steve McManaman, Didi Hamaan, Paul Scholes, Owen Hargreaves, John Arne Riise, Paul Ince, John Barnes, Paul Merson, Darren Bent, Joe Cole and Dennis Wise.
  • A special manual for classes that will help to adapt english skills to the football world: special vocabulary, terms, speech turns.

What is included in the weekly program:

  • 15 English lessons
  • 15 football trainings
  • 1 full-day excursion: London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
  • 2 half-day excursions: usually meetings with famous football players of international class
  • Uniform: branded T-shirt, shorts and socks.

Extracurricular activities that are not marked by the theme of football are the same as in the classic course.

Children live in the residences of the Oratory school, in cozy rooms for 1-2-3 people with shared bathrooms (on each floor). Also floor-by-floor located and common living rooms for relaxation, there are laundries.
