Summer Course

  • Age – from 10 to 17 years old,
  • The training period is from one to four weeks.

The summer course provides students with the opportunity to have fun and improve their English language skills in the company of local and foreign children. Weekly training consists of 15 hours of language lessons, sports and themed entertainment, excursions and free time.

Students can choose from one to four weeks on campus, where they are provided with full board with accommodation, the care of qualified teachers, interesting English lessons and entertainment.

Summer Course Plus Sports Academy

  • Age – from 12 to 17 years old, children 10+ in a group,
  • The training period is from one to four weeks.

The summer program is a combination of interesting English lessons and professional training. Weekly students will attend:

  • 15 hours of language lessons,
  • 9 hours of sports and fitness,
  • 2-3 full-day excursions,
  • Daily entertainment on campus.

The sports component of the course is football, tennis and cardio training under the guidance of qualified athletes. Students are divided into groups based on age and ability. Training takes place both collectively and individually, but any of these formats is based on the safety and benefits of physical development.

Language classes are organized in small classes - so teachers can pay individual attention to each pupil, noticing his successes and gaps in knowledge in time. Lessons are informal and based on communication - children discuss personal interests, history, science, everyday life and many other topics, watch movies and videos, read books and comics, sing songs.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Pupils who come to the campus in the summer months are offered accommodation in a dormitory in the format of full board. Boys and girls live separately, and each of the students is carefully watched by the teacher. In the residential building, mainly double rooms are prepared. Single or multi-bed rooms are available upon pre-filled request. Residents use shared bathrooms, the ratio of students to which is 4:1 or 6:1.

The full board format includes three meals a day: healthy breakfasts, lunches and dinners every day. A choice of hot meals is served in the afternoon and evening, and packed lunches are available on sightseeing days. Professional chefs make a balanced menu and take into account the individual requirements of each student, providing alternative food: vegetarian, dietary, gluten-free and others.

Activities St. Mary's School Ascot Summer Courses

The leisure program offers students the development of their individual interests. During the summer courses, thematic circles and sections are open on campus:

  • Sports: badminton, basketball, football, frisbee, tennis, volleyball, rugby, swimming,
  • Latin American dances, zumba.

During the day and in the evenings, collective events are organized for children:

  • Westminster and Soho,
  • Windsor and Eton,
  • Oxford
  • Salisbury
  • Brighton.

Each tour includes historical and entertaining themes.

The campus of St. Mary's School Ascot is 55 acres of green space with educational and residential buildings, located next to Windsor Castle in Berkshire. For students prepared:

Admission dates and extra charges

The duration of education can be chosen independently: from one to four weeks.

A standard school day consists of a fixed schedule:

  • 7:30-8:00 – getting up and washing,
  • 8:00-8:30 – breakfast,
  • 9:00-10:30 – academic classes,
  • 10:30-11:00 – break,
  • 11:00-12:30 – academic classes,
  • 12:30-13:30 – lunch,
  • 14:00-17:30 – activities on campus or excursions,
  • 18:00-18:45 – dinner,
  • 19:00-19:30 – free time,
  • 19:30-21:00 – collective entertainment classes,
  • 21:00-22:30 – free time,
  • 23:00 – going to bed.

The cost of the course includes basic services: accommodation and meals, hours of study, entertainment on campus and field trips. An additional fee will be required for the following services:

  • Receiving follow-up instructions on visa processing, transfer rental, campus visit,
  • Arrival at the school and registration in the dormitory,
  • The beginning of education.

Perspectives

Graduates of the courses receive a certificate confirming the progress of knowledge in English, as well as additional subprograms, if they are included.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

For admission to the flight program, personal documents of the future student are required: birth certificate / passport and passport, medical insurance and vaccination certificate, visa or residence permit in England. It is also important for applicants to meet the age criteria - children from 12 to 17 years old are allowed to attend the courses, but students from 10+ can get to study as part of a group.

The level of English for enrollment is not important, since the programs are designed for all students: from beginners to advanced.
