The school building is located on the campus of St. George, one of the territories of the University of Toronto. There are seven student residences, but sometimes all living quarters are occupied by students of the main university programs: if there are no vacancies, the staff assist in finding housing off campus.

The Alumni House in St. George accommodates master's and doctoral students. Located within walking distance of the academic building and the library, it offers individual and multi-bed rooms with shared bathrooms, living rooms, laundry facilities and seating areas.

Students who come to study with their families can move into a multi-storey residential complex located near the school. A wide variety of apartments are available almost all year round, providing accommodation of exceptional comfort for the whole family.

When accommodated in one of the university's residences, students receive meal plans to choose from: they include a certain number of meals per week or month, which can be obtained in canteens and cafeterias. Next to the educational buildings there are shops with snacks, cafes with special meals, such as vegetarian and Muslim dishes, vending machines with drinks and sweets. The infrastructure of the study area allows students to get everything they need for a comfortable life without leaving the campus.

The Rotman School is located in the heart of Toronto, the financial and cultural capital of Canada, which is consistently ranked as one of the best cities in the world in terms of quality of life. Students are educated just a few blocks from the Bay Street business center, and the institution takes full advantage of its location: there are many academic and research partnerships between Rothman and the corporate world.

The educational institution is located in the heart of the St. George campus of the University of Toronto. There are several notable features of this building, which was completed in 1995,

  • The Fleck Atrium is a large area on the ground floor that is often used for seminars and public lectures. It occupies the central part of the building with an open-air concept that allows people two floors above to observe the event from above. The vaulted ceiling of the atrium is made of glass,
  • The Business Information Centre is the main school library and branch of the University of Toronto Library System,
  • The Financial Research and Trading Lab is a state-of-the-art space that allows students to access a wide range of financial analysis software and data sets. Throughout the year, various business competitions are held in the laboratory,

The expansion of the building, costing more than $4,000,000 CAD, completed in 2005 , added about a dozen new faculty and administrative premises, several meeting rooms on each floor, and recreation areas. In 2012, the building acquired a new branch, which almost doubled the expansion of educational and extracurricular facilities, providing even more areas for the embodiment of ideas and the development of interests.

Decisions on admission to all programs are made on an ongoing basis (with the exception of the PhD program). Staff recommend that you apply a year or more before your intended start date. Even though applications are registered throughout the year, many programs are very competitive and can recruit a sufficient number of students before the application deadline.

The admission process is quite simple:

  • Filling out an online application, submitting documents and paying the registration fee,
  • Receiving a positive response from the admissions committee with detailed instructions on how to proceed,
  • Passing the entrance test: an interview or a small test,
  • Receiving instructions on the procedure for obtaining a visa upon successful outcome of the interview,
  • Planning a trip and starting your studies.

Perspectives

The number of graduates today exceeds almost 19,000 highly qualified specialists pursuing careers in 90 countries. After graduation, graduates enter subsequent programs or find a job in their specialty within six months.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

For undergraduate programs, candidates must meet the same criteria, but instead of a bachelor's degree, provide a diploma of completion of upper secondary education, and new students of the doctoral program must provide a master's degree in a related specialty.
