Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

Applicants must provide the following documents:

  • For undergraduate studies , a high school diploma, an appendix to the certificate, proof of English proficiency and exam results confirming the required math score (or their equivalent) for programming courses.
  • For a certificate program, a high school diploma, a diploma or certificate that you have studied for at least 2 years at a university, or a diploma of completion of a two-year course in college, or a bachelor's degree.

All documents must be provided in the original, together with a certified notarized translation into English.

Scholarships Niagara College Toronto

A number of grants and scholarships are available to Niagara College students, including:

  • Entrance scholarships

Designed for students applying for the first semester. Students applying for a scholarship are eligible for only one scholarship per semester = $3,000.

  • The Language Gallery Pathway

Designed for first-year international students who successfully completed The Language Gallery Pathway program at least 8 weeks before the start date of the program at Niagara College in Toronto = $ 1000. Cannot be paid simultaneously with other forms of scholarships for applicants.

  • Second Language Scholarship

A scholarship of $1,000 in the first semester with an additional $1,000 in the second semester if the student maintains an average score of 80%.

  • Scholarship for foreign students

Scholarship for foreign students who are currently studying in Canada or have recently completed their studies in Canada, with a valid study permit; if you transfer to Niagara College or apply for a second program at NCT. The size of the scholarship is 1000 dollars in 1 semester + 1000 dollars in the 2nd semester, subject to 80% of academic performance.

  • Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Fellowship

It is intended for foreign students from the CIS countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia). The size of the scholarship is 1000 dollars in 1 semester + 1000 dollars in the 2nd semester, subject to 80% of academic performance.

  • Transferable scholarship

One-time scholarship for students transferring to Canada and applying for a deferral until the winter semester of 2023 until the 1st day of the fall semester 2022. To qualify for the Transition to Canada Scholarship, enrolled students must pay in full for the first semester, as well as present a valid study permit before day 1. The size of the scholarship is 1500 dollars.

  • Scholarship for Academic Excellence

Eligibility for this scholarship is held by students who have successfully completed their first, second or third semester with an average score of 90%. The application for receipt is submitted online, payments are made during the next semester.
