Roedean School, today one of the most famous and prestigious boarding schools for girls, was founded in 1885 by the sisters Lawrence. At first, only 10 schoolchildren were trained in it (6 on a paid basis and 4 at the expense of the institution): in 1898-1920 the school was managed by the sisters, and then passed under the management of the educational council and became public school.

The Roedean School is at the top of a large cliff (a total of 40 acres) and offers a stunning view of the sea. This place is situated in easten part of Brighton: you can get to the city by train in just 15 minutes, and the road to London will take about an hour and a half.

The main specialization of Roedean School can be called natural science - many graduates become students of medical universities and faculties, enter the most prestigious and rating universities, including Oxford and Cambridge . Exact and human sciences are also strong at the school.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Junior students occupy rooms for 2-4 people, and high school students (12-13 class) live in private bedrooms. Shower and amenities in sufficient quantities are located on the floors.
