Krüger Internat und Schulen is unique in its kind of educational program: it is the only boarding school in Germany where you can study in economics or management courses. The curriculum begins with the first classes - for the youngest students and lasts until the university entrance, this is a balanced, comprehensive and continuous studying. Children not only absorb the basic array of fundamental knowledge, but also significantly expand their horizons, acquire new interests and abilities, learn a lot of new things and acquire a steady motivation for self-development.
The school was founded in 1954 for former soldiers from the fields of the Second World War: it helped them to settle in the new world, to finish education, to find new goals and aspirations in life, to get used to work in a peaceful society. That is why from the moment of foundation in the school the main principles are tolerance, support and mutual assistance, respect for other people, the ability to help and compassion. Krüger Internat und Schulen welcomes foreign students from all over the world, people of any religion and colour, respect the personality of each, its uniqueness and diversity.

The institution is located in North Rhine-Westphalia, in the small town of Lotte (it is only 10 kilometers from Osnabrück): its population is only about 12 thousand people, it is very cozy and peaceful, and the people are hospitable and friendly. This is an excellent option, if the student for the first time independently leaves the country for a long time - here he will feel comfortable and safe. Despite the small scale of the city, the infrastructure is excellent, there is everything necessary for living (shopping and entertainment centers, restaurants and cafes, banks, pharmacies, shops, cinema) - all harmoniously combined with cozy narrow streets and sculptural compositions.

Thanks to the emphasis on economic and commercial education, the graduates of Krüger Internat und Schulen are already sufficiently prepared for life in the modern business world, understand the trends and strategies for the development of the world labour market, and find easier and faster prestigious jobs in the future.

About 20-22 people study in each class. All studying is conducted in German, in addition pupils can learn English and Spanish. Compulsory school uniform is not accepted.

Also Krüger Internat und Schulen is famous for its approach to teaching children with difficulties - for example, suffering from dyslexia, dyscalculia: a warm, caring, comfortable atmosphere is created, students respect each other, and teachers have a lot of experience working with such children. Even students who require special care and attention, feel safe and comfortable, open up, become more diligent and attentive, show their talents and abilities. The whole pedagogical team, as well as educators and curators, constantly watch the mood of children, are always ready to provide professional psychological support and assistance.

A comfortable and spacious residence is built on campus for students: rooms (for 1-2 people) are well equipped with everything necessary (furniture and appliances), students are also allowed to bring their own things and souvenirs, decorative items (from furniture and TV to bedding linen). Each floor includes a common lounge for relaxation (with table games, TV, internet access and upholstered furniture). When accommodating the age and gender principle is taken into account (on each floor the girls and boys live separately with their peers).

Krüger Internat und Schulen also cares about the fact that students were not only interested, but also fascinating to learn and have fun. In free from lessons, hours are constantly arranged for various leisure activities, visits to museums, theaters and cinema, karaoke evenings and discos. A lot of time is spent on sports (bowling, beach volleyball, horse riding, active collective games), creative pursuits and crafts (one of the most popular electives is cooking). Often students play various sport activities:

Also, many students sing in the choir or play musical instruments, arrange concerts and demonstration performances (there is even a professional recording studio). In order to enroll in Krüger Internat und Schulen, you should take care in advance of obtaining a student visa and collecting the necessary documents (at least one month in advance). It will be necessary to provide a report card with grades from the previous place of study (the average score is not lower than the average), and also to demonstrate a sufficiently high level of the German language (from B2).

If the level of the German language or academic knowledge is insufficient, the child is encouraged to take an effective preparatory course at the Humboldt Institutions (Lindenberg or Bad Schussenried). In just 6 months you can raise the language level practically from scratch to the required B2 thanks to qualified teachers, balanced curriculums and full immersion in the language and cultural environment of Germany.

In order to become a candidate for admission to Krüger Internat und Schulen, the entrant will be required to provide the admission committee with the following information:

• Full name, date of birth
• School report card with grades, translated into German or English
• Personal hobbies, interests, success certificates in academic, creative activity
• Letters of recommendation from previous teachers translated into English or German
• Personal written motivation letter (in English or German).

It is also required to:

• Indicate (you can approximately) the annual or monthly budget for studying
• Select the priority region for obtaining an education in Germany.

After receiving all the necessary information, the advisory council begins selecting a school for the student: assesses its opportunities and requests, contacts schools identified as priority , and reveals the number of seats available and the possibility of admission.

Usually, foreign students begin the process of studying in Germany with the Humboldt-Institute language courses (the German academic program for the year): in this case, the selected secondary schools receive full reports on the student's successes and achievements, his behavior in the classroom, the degree of involvement in school extra-curricular activities. After the preparatory language course is completed and all formalities are settled, the student goes for basic studying to the boarding school he has chosen and the advice board.
