The curriculum is designed to stimulate teenagers who are preparing for college. The main focus is on the study of the humanities, the acquisition of skills that will allow young people to solve various problems of an ever-changing world. The Learning Resource Program is a specialized program designed for adolescents with above average intelligence diagnosed with learning disabilities. Miami Country Day School's most popular summer camp: Students attend a variety of activities, special classes based on the theme of the week. Every day of holidaymakers is made taking into account age characteristics, ensures maximum safety, the best experience. Tourists travel the campus with their friends, attending canoeing, arts and crafts, science, cooking, drama, sports, martial arts, music, hip-hop, yoga, DJing, karting. Working hours - 9-18 hours.

CIT Camp - 12-13 HP - $ 275 / week

The Learning Advisor program is open to future leaders. The CIT program is updated annually to include fun activities, learning experiences, weekly field trips, team building, educational sessions.

Tackling the College Essay - 17-18 yrs. - 395 $ / 12 days

Preparing to write an essay for college admission. The course provides an opportunity to reveal the best qualities, to show the selection committee that distinguishes them from other applicants.

Camp participants will develop a business plan to implement their own business idea. If your child dreams of "leaving with the circus", then this program is for him. They will juggle, walk the tightrope, become clowns, jump over a ring of fire, create their own miniature circus performances and perform live on stage. The performers will take part in exciting carnival games, will be engaged in arts and crafts, singing, dancing, and karaoke. Also, vacationers will have a Splash day, weather permitting.

Princess & Superhero Camp - 5+ - 212 $ / 5 days

Camp for superheroes and princesses. Here they will practice art, music, vocals, dance, acting, singing, storytelling and creative play. Kids will dress up as their favorite Disney or comic book characters. The program includes indoor games, Splash day (sprinklers, scooter washing).

Project Runway Fashion Challenge: Junk to Funk - 6+ - $ 212/5 days

A weeklong creative summer camp adventure builds skills with recycled materials - kids transform ordinary items into extravagant fashion accessories. Participants will discover creative reuse, create clothes that will hit the catwalk at the family fashion show at the end of the camp week.

Summer Musical Theater Workshop Miami Country Day School teaches singing, acting, dancing skills, helps to get professional theater training, working with renowned MCDS teachers, invited artists. Summer Sewing Camp is a great way to equip your child with useful skills that will help build confidence and style. Kids will learn basic design, sewing skills, creating fun, fun, rewarding projects. From hand to machine sewing - your child will learn new things all day long!

Aquatics Competitive Stroke Camp - 10-16 HP - 300 $ / 4 days

The balanced curriculum focuses on swimming, training, teamwork, fun. A holistic approach is at the heart of Total Performance, which allows swimmers to achieve superior results. Teaching is personalized, coaching is conducted in small groups, students attend team building sessions, leadership sessions, daily video analysis, classroom activities. The most important thing is that tourists are having fun: they participate in the "Garbage Hunt", various shows, games! The camp is open to beginners and highly skilled swimmers.

Please note that this is not a swimming training camp: students must be proficient in all 4 basic styles.

Basketball - 5-18 - $ 300 / week

The Miami Country Day School School Basketball Camp offers boys and girls to learn how to play basketball in a fun environment. The training forms a solid foundation of skills - the program is tailored to players of all levels.

Simple Soccer - 5-17 HP - 300 $ / week

Led by FACA Hall of Fame Coach Jeff Watson, Soccer Camp aims to help players reach their full potential by learning the foundation of football skills. Simple Soccer offers soccer training covering all aspects of the game, personal skills, techniques.

Curious Workshop - 5-18 HP - 250 $ / week

This workshop is all about fun, hands-on creativity, STEM teaching. Participants will engage in an open space full of arts and crafts, 3D printers, rockets, and exciting technology. The family program offers a choice of a wide range of daily activities, projects, age-appropriate fun experiments.

Snacks and drinks are available daily throughout the day.

Star Wars Engineering: Building & Programming - 6-8 y. - 450 $ / 5 days

Take your LEGO passion to the next level by working with the team to create Star Wars droids on the new LEGO Boost training platform! Imagine the possibilities as you and other movie fans learn how to build and program three different robots from Star Wars: the lovable R2-D2, Race, and the Empire droid. In addition to learning programming, participants will complete additional Star Wars themed engineering missions.

Digital Photography & Graphic Design - 9-13 p. - 450 $ / 5 days

See the world through your lens, learn to take and edit photos like a pro! Young people will learn photography techniques, learn about the functions of digital cameras, gain experience in photography, and learn how to enhance digital images with software. No prior experience with digital cameras or graphic design is required, all skill levels are encouraged.

Game Design & Roller Coaster Science - 6-8 y. - 450 $ / 5 days

Game Design campers will learn the basics of handcrafting video games using Bloxels and tablets. In the Roller Coaster Science session, children work with instructors, learn the basics of roller coaster design, and use K'Nex to create models that demonstrate how roller coasters work.

3D Game Design: Featuring Portal 2 - 8-13 HP - 450 $ / 5 days

If you like 3D games then this camp is for you! Portal 2 is a first-person puzzle game that challenges you to use your brains to solve challenging problems. Students use 3D game engine software, Portal 2, develop a game adventure with intricate mazes, puzzles, traps. All skill levels are welcome.

Sports Car Racing & Robot Challenge - 6-8 HP - 450 $ / 5 days

The camp day is divided into two parts:

  • Sports Car Racing & Design - Participants compete with each other, race Anki smart cars, work in teams to design and build large Anki race tracks.
  • Robot Challenge - students will master the introduction to robotics, learn to pre-program, code, control a robot using various tasks.

Science of Roller Coasters & Minecraft - 8-13 liters. - 450 $ / 5 days

Amusement parks are filled with opportunities to learn about science and technology. Learn about the physics of roller coasters by exploring kinetic and potential energy, centripetal force. Tourists build and test physical / "virtual" roller coasters using a variety of computer programs, including Minecraft. You will create virtual roller coasters, scale models with K'NEX, and experience the thrill of turns, loops and falls!

The camp day is divided into 3 periods. Two thirds of the day is spent exploring, developing a roller coaster, and about a third is devoted to working with Minecraft. No previous experience required! All skill levels are welcome.

ROBLOX: Designing OBBYs - 6-8 liters. - 450 $ / 5 days

This camp is for those who want to learn how to create their own video game levels. Using ROBLOX - a gaming platform on which students can play and create game worlds - they will create their own immersive OBBY experience. With the ROBLOX game engine, game design is limited only by imagination: tourists will learn how to build three-dimensional worlds, races, obstacle courses.

Robotics 101 - 8-13 liters. - 450 $ / 5 days

Robotics 101 - Explore the exciting world of robotics. Working in small groups, students will design and build a robot using LEGO® MINDSTORMS®. Having programmed their robot to perform design tasks, beginners will start with the basics of design and programming. More experienced users will master advanced programming skills. No prior experience with LEGO® MINDSTORMS® is required.

Minecraft 4 Kids: Level Up - 6-8 liters. - 450 $ / 5 days

Students will enter the amazing world of Minecraft, create virtual reality in a sandbox-like environment, using tablets, and develop their own games. This fun and exciting camp builds interest, encourages creativity, and helps maximize learning potential.

3D Design and Virtual Reality and 3D Printing - 8-13 p. - 450 $ / 5 days

This camp is all about 3D design: it provides introductory tutorials on software, 3D graphics tools. Students will see their work come to life in virtual reality by printing samples of their work on a 3D printer!

- we recommend to apply 6-9 months before the start of the course (some camps and schools offer discounts for early booking or for lengthy study programs)
- there are some very popular and high demand children's camps, where the applications need to be submitted 1 year in advance (in particular Switzerland , Great Britain , USA , Canada , Austria)
- we recommend to apply one year before the start of the training program,
- some schools have a specific time frame (September-November - please specify an individual school)
