Alpadia Leysin is a summer language camp for children and teenagers. The language school of Alpadia Leysin is located close to the railway station and the main tourist infrastructure of the Swiss ski resort. Leysin represents perfect conditions for recreation of international students all year round. The resort is considered one of the sunniest, picturesque and comfortable in the Swiss Alps. Also, Leisan is known as a youth recreation center, where it is created a special relaxed atmosphere.

Language courses take place at the Le Central-Résidence educational center. Here, accommodation, meals are organized. The school accepts students of two age groups for education: children (from 8 years old), adolescents (13-17 years). On campus all conditions for a comfortable staying, effective teaching and memorable vacation of foreign students are created.

What is the best time to apply to language schools? What should students prepare for?

At the age of 18, after graduating high school, students are naturally transitioning towards adulthood. The best time to study languages abroad is before starting university, as this will give them the needed time to reflect on what career path they wish to commence.  

Studying at Alpadia Leysin provides accommodation on a full board basis. Children 8 years and older live in a residence in four-bed rooms. The rooms are furnished, equipped with amenities. Adolescents from 13 to 17 years old are also offered accommodation in Le Central-Résidence. The neighbors of the student in a four-person room will be representatives of other nationalities. Children and teenagers live with their peers. In general, there are recreation areas, a living room, a cafe, a dining room.

Extra-curricular program of Alpady Leysan is traditionally for the schools of the network represented by a standard and premium block. The first includes:

• Sporting events. For students there are sections of volleyball, football, basketball, floorball, handball, mini-golf, swimming, badminton, ping-pong. Hiking is also available to active students.
• Cognitive rest (excursions to Lausanne, Chillon Castle, water park, "Adventure Labyrinth", to the cheese factory in the village of Gruyere, to the Cailler chocolate factory).
• Premium package for the age group 8 - 17 Years provides for the possibility of riding lessons, improving the skills of playing tennis under the guidance of experienced coaches, knowledge of the secrets of culinary arts. The best chefs of the Swiss Alpine resort work as teachers at the culinary courses.

For teenagers, the premium package includes (to choose from):

• Tennis. Experienced coaches help develop students' skills.
• The art of self-expression. The program includes dance master classes, acting lessons, trainings for self-expression. The work takes place in mini-groups.
• Adrenaline. The program is focused on extreme lovers. Training is conducted on mountain biking, high-speed descent from the glacier, and alpine skiing (skating in Lezan is possible all year round).

Daily routine:

Language classes take place mainly in the morning and afternoon.
