Description of Frilingue Leysin Autumn and Spring camp

Leysin is a popular international resort, which in addition to the beautiful recreation and spectacular views of the Alps, can offer high quality language studying in several advanced schools, for example, Autumn and spring camp Frilingue Leysin. The atmosphere of the resort is full of multicultural communication with foreign students from all over the world: the national language of the city is French, but English is also often heard.

Leysin resort has been known for many years for its healthy climate, clean air, curative programs - it is no wonder that the average life expectancy of local residents is higher than this figure in Europe! The city is located on the southern mountain slope, which allows it to be protected from the cold north wind - the climate here is quite mild, comfortable and very suitable for a person. The area in which Leysin is located includes three lakes with the clearest clear water.

In addition to the huge number of sanatoriums and recreational centers, the city is known and loved among fans for alpine skiing. Local mountain slopes are very popular and attract a large number of tourists and sportsmen. Also popular is summer tourism: hiking, climbing, etc. The infrastructure of the terrain includes several railroad tracks, lifts, so it will not be a problem to get to one or another point.

Several international language schools are located in the city - in addition to standard programs, they offer a large number of courses for vacations: summer, winter, spring and autumn. Also in Leysin you can find three international schools of management, which specialize in hotel business and service.

Language camp Leysin (autumn and spring)

Spring arrivals are scheduled for April 5 - May 2, in the autumn students can arrive for a period of September 27 - October 17. The pupil himself can choose the term for which it is convenient for him to come to a language camp: the minimum duration of the program is 1 week, the full-time course includes 4 weeks of study and rest. You can start the autumn course on September 27 / October 4 / October 11, the spring course - 3, 10, 17 or April 24.

By age, students form two study groups: 6-11 years and 12-17 years. Classes are formed very small - only 6 people in each - so each student is given due attention. Teachers of the college are experienced specialists with a high level of qualification who are able to motivate students for academic achievements, to stimulate interest in learning, to make lessons cognitive and interesting.

You can choose to learn English, French or German. Classes are held on weekdays (Monday-Friday) from 9:00 to 12:30 (20 lessons per week). The curriculum is flexible enough and can be tailored to the specific student or group. All the basic skills of the language develop, including during special role-playing games, theatrical productions and games, great attention is paid to improving communication skills.

Review about Frilingue Leysin Autumn and Spring camp

Darina S.
(Frilingue Leysin school review)

Good camp with universal programs. We advise if you are looking for just good opportunities for a child’s rest + study, without complicated preparation for tests and so on.

We wanted to fly to Switzerland for a long time, since we were already resting in the USA and England (London). The choice was made successful (thanks to the consultant Sofia): places around are beautiful, the climate is warm, the school itself is very comfortable, compact and spacious at the same time. Classes are really interesting. For the most part it is an international summer camp, because there is a wide range of leisure and entertainment. But impressions for the year ahead, and this was the main goal. If you are looking for a good holiday camp - we can advise.

If this is important: we have a son of 13 years old, were on English courses in the middle and end of April.
