The famous and prestigious John F. Kennedy International School is located 3 kilometers from the large resort town of Gstaad in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. This is an unusually beautiful, picturesque area, which opens up to the students the widest opportunities for sports, walks and outdoor activities.

Founded in 1949, the school is very small - it studies only 60 students, which forms a very warm, friendly, almost family atmosphere. The entire teaching and management staff practices an individual approach, finding a common language with each student and revealing his unique talents and abilities. The primary goal of the school is to teach children in junior and middle classes (4-14 years): to develop perseverance, attentiveness, to build a strong foundation of basic knowledge and skills, to foster the desire for knowledge, self-development and education.

Teachers of the school pay great attention not only to the academic but also to the moral development of children, instilling in them aesthetic and ethical norms, the education of valuable personal and leadership qualities - responsibility, openness, kindness and responsiveness, honesty and mutual respect.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Full board accommodation is available to boys and girls from 6 years old. Alpine chalets are chosen for living: comfortable cozy houses with the necessary furniture and equipment (the whole residence includes 2 large houses).

On the campus for boarding children comfortable residences with rooms for 3-4 people are prepared, for boys and girls there are separate floors. Together with the children there are teachers and educators, so the safety and comfort of children is guaranteed in 24/7 mode.

In general use of the students there are drawing rooms for rest and quiet classrooms for study and self-preparation, a small kitchen and a common spacious dining room, several outdoor playgrounds and ping-pong tables.

The nutrition of the children (boarding, three meals a day) is tailored to the needs of the young organism - the diet is balanced, varied, tasty: it includes a large number of vegetables and fruits, cereals, fresh salads and hot soups. Often held thematic culinary days, dedicated to the traditions of different countries. On request, it is possible to organize dietary or vegetarian meals.
