L a Marelle - hospitable nurseries that implement a number of different goals relating to the well-being, physical, psychological development of the child. The role of the school is to help the child develop individuality, creating an atmosphere of trust between parents and child. Children develop at their own pace, in a comfortable environment. The mission of the youngest branch is the high quality of supervision, the caregivers listen to the child, parents. Regular exchange of information with parents helps the teaching staff to better respond to the needs of the child.

22 children are admitted to the Nursery per year: 5 children 3-18 months, 7 children from 18 to 24-30 months, 10 children from 30 to 48 months.

Pre-School is a French-English bilingual preschool program suitable for children of 3-4 years old. Ecole Riviera's preschool education takes place in a calm, secure environment with direct access to a private garden. The program is designed taking into account the age of students, includes six blocks of education:

Infant School offers individualized learning and monitoring of each student’s achievements. The purpose of training is growth, development of thinking, self-confidence of children. Ecole Riviera works on a bilingual French-English curriculum: 50% of the lessons are taught in French, 50% in English (one day in one language and one day in another language).

The school aims to develop the intellectual, emotional, athletic, creative qualities of children. Well-established stimulating relations with the teaching staff help students develop at their own pace, achieve academic success.

Immersion is one of the keys to success in learning a foreign language at school. Students can easily learn to speak English or French, as they use languages in real situations, perform various classes in the classroom. In elementary school classes are conducted in French and English. The purpose of training is to create a solid academic base, to develop an effective methodology for the strategies of further education. Training programs are designed so that children can acquire a solid knowledge base. Education in grades 7–8 is focused on preparing students for entry to secondary school: the focus is on teaching languages, mathematics, the world around us, and developing critical abilities. In the learning process, study trips are often conducted.

Students from 3 months to 3 years old spend time in a villa with access to a private garden.

From the age of 3, children move to the main school building, where a safe environment has been created, adapted to the needs of children. Pupils have access to a school library, a computer room, a room for creativity, handicraft, music, theater rooms, a school cafeteria and a well-equipped school playground. All classrooms are equipped with IWB, students use mobile computing devices.

Sports activities are held in the gymnasiums outside the school: swimming lessons are held in the local Montreux swimming pool, physical education classes are held in open sports fields under favorable weather conditions. School buses take you to the sports grounds.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

Admission procedure:

  1. Filing an application
  2. Sending copies of documents:
    1. School reports for the last two years
    2. A letter of recommendation from a teacher or head of school
    3. Identification.
  3. Filling out a medical form, sending copies of insurance documents

The school secretary confirms the receipt of the documents, the student is added to the list of applicants. All applications are reviewed by the director, some applicants are invited for an interview. The decision on enrollment is made from March to April. After enrollment, parents pay a registration fee and a security deposit, which is 25% of the tuition fee.
