IDRAC Business School is a French private school specializing in business, marketing, management.

The business school is part of the Grande Ecole de Commerce, enjoying the highest level of academic, professional recognition and ranking in the list of the 30 best business schools in France.

The institution offers bachelor's, master's, MBA and Grande Ecole courses, at the end of which the master's degree is also awarded.

IDRAC has eight campuses in France, nine educational venues abroad and more than 30,000 alumni worldwide. The school also boasts a large network of partners, which includes about 25,000 companies and more than 100 universities in 41 countries.

About 3,000 students study at this educational institution annually, including 200 representatives of other countries who arrived on exchange programs.

Programme Grande Ecole

  • Age – from 21 years
  • The training period is 3 years.

This Master's programme in Management is the flagship course of the business school, presented in English and French. For three years, students study the basics and intricacies of doing business, management and international relations. Few programs can boast of practical training – the same course offers students a 6-month internship during or after its completion. More than 20,000 graduates who graduated from Grande Ecole now work in the positions of business unit directors, analysts, managers.

Accommodation, meals, prices

After registration, all applicants have access to an online platform containing a list of student housing near any of the campuses. The monthly rent will be about 550 €, if there are social benefits - about 220 €.

Activities IDRAC Business School

Any student will be able to find an extracurricular team of interests or create their own club. In recent years, the largest associations in terms of the number of students are:

  • Photography: master classes, exhibitions, seminars,
  • Sailing races,
  • Financial Club,
  • Studying the culture of China, tourist trips,
  • Art club: music, drawing, needlework.

Each campus has about five large communities. For example, in Lyon, 24 teams are organized in Afrotans, yoga and Pilates, team sports.

Under French law, students can work no more than 20 hours a week. Campus staff can help with finding a part-time job on or off campus.

Facilities and equipment at IDRAC Business School

IDRAC campuses are located in eight cities in France: Bordeaux, Grenoble, Lyon, Montpellier, Nantes, Nice, Paris and Toulouse. In addition to them, the institution has campuses in Europe – in Ireland, India, the Czech Republic, Spain, Canada and China.

All study areas are large: from 900 to 22,500 sq.m. The largest campus is in Lyon. The infrastructure of the buildings at all sites differs little from each other – IDRAC students receive equal opportunities for development and effective learning. On campuses there are:

  • Classrooms with interactive equipment,
  • Small canteens, mobile food outlets,
  • Specialized laboratories,
  • Co-working spaces, self-study halls,
  • Libraries with reading rooms, computers with Internet access,
  • Studios for additional classes: dancing, drawing, gatherings of associations,
  • Business incubators for project development.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the university.

Students of the institution can use the nearest sports stadiums and halls outside of school hours, as IDRAC has an agreement with many public places in cities. The location of the campuses is convenient because the road to attractions, restaurants and cafes, entertainment and cultural places will take very little time. The transport network in France is well developed, so students spend no more than an hour on movement.

Admission dates and extra charges

The academic year is divided into two semesters:

  • Autumn: September-January,
  • Spring: January-June.

Exams take place in the last week of each semester. The average student weekly workload is 20 to 25 hours. The business school uses the ECTS credit system: at the end of each course, students must collect 60 credits to successfully complete the stage.

In the summer, IDRAC students undergo an internship in partner companies of the institution.

Students spend about 845€ every month.

Enrolment process

How to enroll in IDRAC:

  • Apply by filling out a questionnaire on the official website or in person on campus.
  • Take an individual interview lasting 30 minutes.
  • Within five days after the interview, receive a response from the admissions committee.
  • Pay registration fees, entrance fee 5000€.

Perspectives

On average, 83% of graduates find a job in their specialty within six months. The institution keeps a record of students who received a position on the basis of the completed program:

  • for example, the average annual salary of graduates of the "Financial Services" direction is 49,000 €,
  • marketing and communications specialists receive about 29 000€,
  • students who graduate from the "Sales and Business Management" program earn about 42,000 €.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

Applications for training are accepted before the beginning of each of the semesters. Deadlines:

  • Spring: November 30.

Scholarships IDRAC Business School

The business school offers a number of scholarships for Indian students under the Indo-French Scholarship program, covering tuition fees, accommodation, visa fees and airfare.

Scholarship programs for all students:

  • Payments for children, sisters of IDRAC graduates and speakers – 10% of the cost of the year of study,
  • Entrance scholarship for the period between admission and registration,
  • Honorary scholarship for successful students facing personal difficulties,
  • The "Odyssey of Equal Opportunities" program for Grande Ecole students from disadvantaged families – full coverage of study expenses,
  • Assistance for bachelors based on academic success – 500 or 1000€ for the marks "Good" and "Very Good" in the diploma,
  • A grant from the Erasmus program, giving foreign students both a scholarship and covering registration fees.
