Heathfield Knoll School's curriculum is based on the National Curriculum with some additions and variations, and includes PSHE, French, and Spanish. The school offers each child several extracurricular academic activities or hobby groups.

Heathfield Knoll School is a full-time school. Heathfield Knoll meets the needs of busy families by providing both after-school and leisure club services. Extended Day is available to all students throughout the school from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Early Childhood Education program includes a popular breakfast club: it is suitable for students from preschool through 4th grade. The club opens at 7:30 a.m. and students are assigned to classes at 8:30 a.m. Childcare before lessons is carried out by qualified and experienced staff. Children are given a choice of breakfast dishes and are encouraged to sit and eat breakfast together.

At the end of the school day (16:00), parents can pick up students or drop off a child to take advantage of a wide range of extracurricular activities. Each semester offers a wide range of classes such as ballet, Duke of Edinburgh classes, fencing, jiu-jitsu and sports sections.

A 2-course hot lunch is provided daily for all students at Heathfield Knoll School on a 3-week menu that changes every semester. Meals are prepared with local produce, and fresh fruits and vegetables are brought from the Earth Centre. Depending on the season, there is also a choice of salad and soup.

At Heathfield Knoll School, children are invited to participate in a variety of interesting activities, given the opportunity to socialize with their friends, in good weather, children play in the fresh air, on the school grounds using outdoor play equipment. The school complex is home to about 30 acres of mixed forest, so students can enjoy a wide range of outdoor learning environments. The school minibus fleet provides additional travel opportunities outside the school grounds and the city, to areas of Worcestershire, Shropshire and Birmingham.

Art and music are taught as separate subjects for all primary school students, dramatic arts from the 5th grade. A choir and ensembles of one or two instruments have been created, all students learn to play musical instruments, and half attend extracurricular lessons in playing musical instruments (from the third grade). There are several extracurricular creativity and performing arts clubs.

The school is set around a large country house in a beautiful setting that includes extensive playgrounds, woodlands and meadows (over 30 acres in total). The expansive grounds of Heathfield Knoll are often used to support a creative curriculum, including outdoor learning and research.

One of the school's important spaces is the Haven, the school's learning support base, which was created to provide a quiet and relaxing space for all students. Haven is available to all students and is used by different segments of the school community, including children from all age groups. The Haven consists of several rooms: there is a time-out for children who may need a little extra time to prepare for the day or take a break after school. The Haven area is well staffed and used for one-on-one instruction and small group activities.

The school year at Heathfield Knoll School runs from September to June. The year is divided into 3 trimesters, between which vacations are organized:

Admission to a place at Heathfield Knoll School for the first years of study (kindergarten):

1. Fill out the online form with the required days and times,
2. If classes are available, a member of the Admissions Office will contact parents to book a private tour of the Early Childhood Facility and the Primary School (upon request),
3. If the school is suitable for the child, parents will be asked to fill out an online pre-registration form,
4. Once all forms and deposits have been received, the child will be allocated a spot.

Basic school admission process:

1. Familiarization of parents with the school (excursion).
2. Online Child Registration Form. As soon as the application is completed and submitted, the data processing process begins, the child is invited for a few trial days.
3. First trial day – the child will spend a normal day at Heathfield Knoll.
4. The second trial day allows the child to get acquainted with the school environment.
5. Once all parties are happy with the environment and the learning process, the child will be offered a place and can start learning within a month of acceptance.

The admission process is quite simple and ensures that the child is provided with the most comfortable new environment possible.

Heathfield Knoll School accepts boys and girls from 0 to 16 years old. Today, the school has between 200 and 400 students.

The school has a non-selective admission policy.

Heathfield Knoll School provides a number of scholarships each year that recognise outstanding academic achievement, artistic ability, talent in music and performing arts, and athletic potential. Students who receive a scholarship at Heathfield Knoll receive a discount of up to 25% on tuition fees and are eligible for additional tuition in their chosen subject(s).

Heathfield Knoll Scholarships are awarded to students in grades 6 and 9 who are inspired and excel in a variety of academic and extracurricular activities that align with the school's principles.

Students who receive scholarships will remain scholars for the duration of their time at Heathfield Knoll and will be reviewed annually. Fellows are the school's champions who demonstrate exceptional leadership skills.
