Foreign students who enroll in North American higher education institutions often experience certain difficulties in adapting to their lifestyles and educational systems and feel insecure in English, as the level of language, no matter how high, is different from academic standards. To overcome these difficulties and successfully adapt, a special program was developed at Fairleigh Dickinson University, which includes active classes in several broad sections:

The pre-university program is a 15-week course of study offered three times during the school year, and the start and end of the course corresponds to the academic calendar. The Pre-Masters Graduate Program (PMP) provides international students with quality education to successfully complete a master’s degree in administrative sciences (MAS) and a master’s degree in hospitality management research (MSHMS). Students entering the program often meet all the admission requirements of the graduate department, but need additional education and may enter Pre-Master's in the future either independently or on the recommendation of the admissions committee (based on the results of an academic written exam). Education lasts 15 weeks and includes several extensive modules:

  • Special courses in the chosen direction.

Applicants to the program receive conditional admission to one of the available graduate programs.
