    English language school programs

    Learning English is structured in three areas: general situational - for everyday communication to the level of a native speaker, English for business applications - tourism, hospitality, law, etc. and highly specialized - preparing for the IELTS exam.

    General course (General English)

  • Age of students: 17+
  • Dates: all year round from Monday to Friday
  • Duration: 1-12 weeks.
  • Active language learning for 15-20 hours a week in groups of up to 15 students aged 17 years. Groups are formed depending on the basic knowledge, the possible level at the end of the course is from Beginner (beginner level A1) to professional level (level C2). The program covers practice in all everyday English language skills:

  • speaking
  • listening
  • reading
  • letter
  • grammar.
  • Intermediate tests are conducted weekly, which allows to assess the gaps in knowledge at each stage of training and, if desired, take 5 additional hours per week. The cost of a week course at Dorset College is € 170, but the more weeks a student takes on a course, the cheaper the price. The maximum duration of training is 12 weeks - 1740 €, 145 € per week.

  • This course is for students with advanced level of English, but who want to improve their skills, expand vocabulary in the professional field. In the process of learning, students learn real situations of communication in the business world, learn the specifics of doing business in other countries, participate in debates, prepare presentations and speeches. Training is conducted in groups of up to 15 people, the level of study is from B1 to C2. The cost of 1 week - 150 €, for 12 weeks - 1500 €.

    IELTS Exam Preparation

  • Age of students: 17+
  • Dates: year-round from Monday to Friday from 9-13.30 h.
  • Duration: 1-12 weeks.
  • Students of the course in intensive mode study all sections of the IELTS language exam based on tests of past years. In the learning process weekly tests are conducted, as well as a test exam at the end of the program. The IELTS exam is required for candidates for a work or student visa and those who start a career in international business. Classes are held in groups of up to 12 people, the level of knowledge from A1 to C2. The cost of 1 week course - 225 €, for 12 weeks - 2280 €.

    Accommodation is not included in the cost of tuition at Dorset College Dublin, but the college administration offers accommodation with special discounts.     Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

    In order to enroll in a basic preparatory course for a university, foreign applicants must complete a basic course (International Foundation Program). For admission to the basic course you must provide:

    • certificate of international language exam TOEFL or IELTS
    • high school diploma (or equivalent document)
    • passport copy
    • letters of recommendation from the place of study (work)
    • medical insurance (as part of a student visa)
    • tuition documents
    • previous immigration documents (if any)
    • confirmation of financial opportunities (statement from the bank or sponsorship letters of sponsors). Usually confirm the amount of 7000 €.
