Valencia is the third city in Spain in terms of the number of higher education institutions. Every year, tens of thousands of applicants from all over the country and the world decide on the obtaining higher education in Valencia. The University of Valencia is the oldest educational institution in Spain. This state university, founded back in 1499, is currently one of the twenty best higher education institutions in the country.

The University of Valencia conducts studying in three programs: bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies. Double Degree and Double International Diploma programs are also available for the foreign students.
