Education information
Russia provides the widest opportunities for higher education: over 1200 universities, of which 900 are state-owned, as well as 312 non-state higher education institutions offer hundreds of different programs, in which more than 4 million students are already studying.
At the same time, the admission procedure for applicants is simple and concise: Russian citizens need to pass the exam - unified state exams - in several disciplines; foreigners also take the exam, but in some cases they can pass intra-university entrance exams.
The work ahead is not easy, both at the preparatory stage and at the university. The best universities try to recruit the most talented, hard-working and self-sufficient applicants, appreciate out-of-the-box thinking, evaluate prospects, and the desire to benefit society. Such universities are ready to offer students everything they need for professional growth and count on reciprocity.
In addition, many Russian universities have grown into research centers that are visible at the national level and in the international arena, where students are participants in scientific work and conduct their own research.
Therefore, an applicant wishing to enter a prestigious university must mentally and physically prepare himself for the highest academic loads and the highest competition: young scientists, public and political figures, excellent students and stars compete for a place. Teachers make high demands, and the curriculum, with simplicity and conciseness, is extremely saturated, students are waiting for numerous tasks and several years of hard work.
To increase the chances of success, applicants can prepare in advance: attend additional classes, courses, study independently.
