Description of Brentwood College School

  • Location: Mill Bay, British Columbia, Canada
  • Founded: 1923
  • The age of students: 13-18 years
  • Total number of students: 500 people
  • Accommodation type: boarding house (residence, from age 13)

Brentwood College School is one of the best Canadian schools specializing in teaching middle and high school students (13 to 18 years old).

The school's distinctive advantage is the system of mentoring and advisors: they help students in any issues (academic, sports, creative, domestic, etc.), help in resolving various disputes and conflict situations. The counselor meets regularly with his ward, if necessary, adjusts his curriculum and program, selects courses for senior school, advises on priority HEIs and their specialties, introductory requirements. The counselor also keeps in touch with the pupil's parents, mediates important issues.

It is worth noting that the location of Brentwood College School on the Pacific coast, in colourful British Columbia, gives children a chance not to stop studying in classrooms. There are regular walks and eco-trips, watching wild animals and diving in the waters of the bay, visiting the large national parks Strathcona Park Lodge or Bamfield Marine Sciences Center, visiting lessons in oceanography and marine biology (these subjects can even be included in the main curriculum).

The prestigious Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS) highly appreciated the quality of teaching and services in the school - today Brentwood College School is a valid and active member of CAIS.

All students wear uniforms. The boarding school in Canada does not belong to any religious organization, therefore children of any confession and religion can study here.
