Breda University of Applied Sciences is a private higher education institution focused on preparing Dutch and foreign students for an international career. Over 7,700 people from about 100 countries study here. Breda University of Applied Sciences is closely connected with professional practice, the most attention is paid to entrepreneurial and business-oriented activities. BUas, formerly NHTV, is the world's largest provider of higher education in tourism, leisure and hospitality. With more than half a century of experience and cooperation in practice-oriented education, teachers develop Breda University's undergraduate and graduate programs, which are highly rated in international ratings.

The University of Applied Sciences of Breda does not have its own student residences, therefore, it recommends that students choose their own housing before starting their studies. The number of students in the city is growing annually, and the number of rented apartments, rooms and houses is not very extensive, so it is better to make reservations in advance.

Breda University is organizing a special international start for all new foreign students who begin their studies at Breda University of Applied Sciences. Students receive information on practical issues - insurance, municipal, legal, economic: how to open an account with a Dutch bank, how the medical system works, and so on. At the end of the evening, a party is planned in honor of the start of education, acquaintance with fellow students.

Extracurricular activities for foreigners in the Netherlands include walking around the city, boating along canals or lakes, relaxing on the beach, in the forest or among the dunes.

Cultural leisure includes visiting concerts in stadiums and small venues, musicals, a theater, more than 1000 museums.

The Netherlands is also famous for its street festivities on King's Day or during international football championships.

• Additional costs range from 400 to 700 euros per year (extracurricular activities, participation in excursions).

Foreign students present upon admission the equivalent of a Dutch diploma of complete general secondary education (havo) or pre-university education (vwo) for admission to BUas study programs. Russian students will need a certificate of completion of preparatory courses or high school of international standard. It is also possible to enroll after the end of the 1st course of an accredited university.

English language requirements:
