SKOLA International Language Center (London) Camden has been successfully operating for more than 40 years: here students from around the world, aged 6 to 16, can effectively and quickly improve the language level, adapt to the British academic and cultural environment, overcome language and emotional barrier. The variety of educational courses and their seasonality allows each student to find the most convenient option for themselves - there are also temporary, short-term courses of various intensity, and year-round programs of academic English. The latter is especially often chosen by students who require studying before entering a British school, college or university.
SKOLA Camden is located in one of the most developed and lively areas of London and operates virtually all year round (except for the peak summer months). The educational institution is a couple of steps from the metro station Camden Town, in walking distance from Regent's Park (its territory reaches 188 hectares!) and the city's huge zoo. This is also one of the most prestigious areas of London: it is here that the legendary British Museum, numerous interesting flea markets and antique shops, various cafes, coffee houses and restaurants, where you can find dishes of any cuisine of the world, are located here.

ENGLISH COURSES FOR SPRING TEENS
- Age of students: 10-18 years
- Minimum duration: 1 week
- Level for admission: any, from the initial
- Number of children in the classroom: up to 15 people.

- Young London Intensive Plus (25 lessons weekly + sport + excursions around London).
Any version of the course helps to quickly and effectively improve your language level, to get acquainted with British culture and history, and to explore the iconic landmarks of London. Academic studies are devoted to the overall, integrated development of all basic skills:
- Reading
- Auditing (listening comprehension)
- Written speech
- Oral speech (spoken English)
- Grammar
- Vocabulary
- Phonetics (correct pronunciation, accent correction)
- Basics of syntax.
The whole leisure program is developed taking into account the age group of students: it helps not only to have fun and happy time, but also to consolidate the acquired skills in a free, informal environment, to learn how to communicate in English in any situation.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES FOR ADOLESCENTS
- Age of students: 14-18 years
- Minimum duration: 1 week
- Entry level: intermediate, from lower Intermediate
- Number of children in the classroom: up to 15 people.
The special program English for education is designed for pupils of 14-18 years old to increase not only the language level, but also the academic level. The intensity of the classes is 25 hours a week: these are English lessons (general, universal course), and classes in the main subjects of the school curriculum. This course will be an excellent preparation for international students who plan to enter a British school or college: in addition to improving the level of knowledge, students will be able to adapt to the new language environment and British academic standards.
SPRING ENGLISH FOR CHILDREN
- Age of students: 8-9 years
- Minimum duration: 1 week
- Entry level: intermediate, from lower Intermediate
- Number of children in the class: up to 15 people.
The English Study Club program is designed for the youngest students of 8-9 years (they usually come to study with their parents or older brother, sister). There are two options for the course:
- English Study Club (Half Day) = 15 hours weekly
- English Study Club (Full Day) = 18 hours weekly.
Students are not divided by the level of English proficiency: it is believed that foreign students at this age have a relatively equal level of knowledge. But if your child already knows English well enough (from Pre-Intermediate and above), then there is a suitable option for him - just contact the school in advance.
Accommodation, meals, prices
All students over the age of 11 are accommodated in British host families: each family is carefully selected and continuously checked by the school staff to provide students with the most convenient and safe conditions. If children under the age of 11 come to study, they can live in the family, but only accompanied by a relative or a senior student (usually brothers or sisters).
Students are provided with cozy, fully furnished rooms for 1-2 people (bathrooms and toilets are shared, as are the kitchen and living room). Each family has the right to receive no more than 3 people: school staff ensure that students live in every home of different nationalities - this is how they achieve rapid language progress, since students are constantly forced to communicate in English.
Meals are provided by the guesthouse: hot breakfasts, lunches and dinners in the family. For the duration of long excursions and trips, each student receives a full lunch box.
Host families are usually within the transport accessibility from school (45-60 minutes), in developed and tranquil areas. Children from 14 years and older can get to the school on their own (the written permission of the parents will be required). Pupils under 14 years old can go to school and back only accompanied by an adult (teacher or guardian). For the convenience of junior school students, the school organizes a convenient and fast general transfer (usually buses).
