Vineridge Academy is a private high school located in the beautiful small town of Niagara on the Lake. The institution offers students-centered instruction, prepares them for further education and work in the ever-changing modern world. A full academic course for grades 9-12 guarantees a diploma of secondary education according to the standard of the Ministry of Education of Ontario. Advanced academic programs give high academic results, and the system of values of the educational institution, student services and extracurricular programs contribute to the individual development of each. High school program

High School Program offers training for students in grades 9-12:

  • The 9th, 10th grade program offers a wide selection of compulsory courses for successful further studies.
  • Studying in grades 11 and 12 involves the development of various specialized university-level courses in mathematics, science, art, technology, business, and the humanities, designed to prepare for university admission.

The school offers differentiated and experimental training programs, developing a combination of educational strategies that meet the individual needs of students, taking into account the educational profile of each child, including his learning style, type of intelligence, academic preferences or traits related to the socio-economic or cultural past.

Vineridge Academy offers English classes at five levels defined by the Ontario curriculum. This allows international students to gain admission to Vineridge regardless of their existing level of English. Students with lower levels of English begin with an intensive language training program. Mini High School Program

  • The minimum English level for this program is IELTS 5.5 / CEFR B2.

This short-term program for high school students from all over the world allows students to enter regular high school classes and gain experience studying abroad for 4-12 weeks. Students will learn and participate in school activities with regular students during their stay.

Mini High School Program participants:

  • Learn a variety of subjects, including math and science.
  • Take part in events in the Niagara region
  • Learn Canadian culture while living with your local host family

All students receive a certificate of successful completion of the course, but do not receive official Canada High School loans.

Summer camps

Vineridge Academy is located in the zone of one of the most popular tourist destinations in Canada, where there are numerous grape fields, wineries, Niagara Falls. Beautiful nature and historical places provide ideal conditions for an incredible summer vacation.

The school offers three summer shifts in June, July, August, allowing you to get a unique cultural experience and have fun.

The shift duration is 3 weeks, the minimum stay is 2 weeks. Participants in the summer camp can join students in the school during the summer semester: this gives you the opportunity to try yourself as a high school student in Canada and meet students who are studying here on an ongoing basis.

The camp program includes:

  • 15 hours of classes per week
  • Transfer
  • Residence / Homestay
  • Nutrition.

A variety of events are held daily, including sports and arts and crafts, shopping, field trips, visits to the water park, tours of Toronto and Niagara Falls.

Accommodation, meals, prices

  • The homestay program offers a choice of accommodation in families with or without children - they are as diverse as the foreign students who stay with them, vary in composition, age and ethnicity. The accommodation coordinator conducts interviews with interested host families, introduces them to the hosting experience and ensures that they are well suited to the program. Student admission requires police permission. Host families offer students the thorough care and attention they need while away from home, monitor diet, regular sleep and student behavior, communicate with and support young people. Accommodation includes breakfast and dinner with the host family. Full family profiles reflect interests and personalities - students also fill out questionnaires so that the coordinators can choose the most suitable type of accommodation and provide an opportunity to get the most complete experience of exploring Canada.
  • Accommodation in the residence includes comfortable and convenient service, location within walking distance from the school building. The three-story building has a separate floor for boys and girls, below is a student lounge with table tennis, a pool table, gym and pantry. Each floor has a fridge, microwave and laundry facilities. Safety is key; staff and surveillance cameras monitor the school environment around the clock. Students have access to 67 newly renovated double suites, spacious and equipped with all necessary amenities - a bathroom, two double beds, two desks, a pantry. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are available throughout. Chefs prepare meals in their own kitchen, all dishes are fresh and cooked daily, served in the form of a buffet - students receive a balanced healthy diet.

Accommodation cost:

  • Homestay + two meals a day - $ 4800/4 months ($ 1200 / month)
  • Residence on campus + three meals a day - $ 6,000 / 4 months. ($ 1,500 / month).

Activities Vineridge Academy Private School

Vineridge provides students with a wide range of learning opportunities outside the classroom through participation in local community activities, events, volunteer projects, and seminars.

The school celebrates all North American holidays and traditions: Thanksgiving, Halloween, Canada Day, Christmas. Students participate in activities such as Terry Fox Run, Thanksgiving. This allows them to learn Canadian culture, values and traditions.

Vineridge gives students the opportunity to be active, play games, play sports, sightseeing, and shop. An intensive academic program is complex, so extracurricular activities make it possible to spend time with classmates in extracurricular hours.
