The largest university in Argentina is Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC). This is a public institution, which was founded in 1610 as the Higher College. The status of the university was awarded in 1613. To date, the National University of Cordoba is considered the oldest in its country and the fourth oldest in South America.

The National University of Cordoba is an important research center in Argentina. In the national ranking, it now ranks 9th, and in the international ranking - 623th position.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

To become a student of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, the entrant must pass the entrance examination. Enter here can not only local citizens, but also foreigners. The academic year at the university is classically divided into two semesters.

The educational institution contains 12 faculties:

  • Architecture, urban planning and design;
  • Agricultural;
  • Economic sciences;
  • Exact and natural sciences;

More than 98,000 students study at the institution. Foreign citizens account for 1% of the total number of students. The teaching staff of the university totals about 5000 teachers. The University supports the possibility of obtaining education remotely (through online courses).

The cost of the Bachelor's / Master's program is less than 1000 USD per year. To save money, students can participate in international competitions and receive grants (their amount can cover both part of the tuition and the entire amount). Thanks to the support of an educational exchange program for students, students can receive part of the education in another international university.
