Business of Entertainment, Media & Sports Academy

This program gives high-school students the opportunity to gain knowledge at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, a business school, to learn from the guest lecturers who are professionals in the media industry.

The program is based on a 6-week university program. During the studying, the phenomenon of global growth of billions of dollars in financial turnover in the media industry and sports, which is reflected in international events such as the Olympic Games, World Cup, large-scale film premieres, and world star concerts, is considered. The classes study the evolution of these events, the concept and principles, the business aspects of sports and media events. Students get acquainted with the business basics of such disciplines as finance, marketing, economics.

Sports business academy

  • Duration: 2 weeks.

The course price includes accommodation, tuition, use of bed linen, WiFi, entertainment from the camp catalog, sports games, and leisure on campus.

The course is aimed at studying the principles of business management of sports enterprises. Basic disciplines:

Together with professional teachers, students analyze problems faced by managers and leaders of the sports industry.

Accommodation, meals, prices

You can choose between individual or shared accommodation in apartments for 6-10 people: each unit has a separate bathroom and toilet, air conditioning, a desk, a bed, and free Wi-Fi. Common areas - laundry, games, recreation rooms, located in the main hall, there is also the administration of UCLA Anderson Business Summer Camp. In other separate buildings there are canteens (Rieber Dining Hall), studying buildings, barbecue areas, lawns, and a beach volleyball field.

The total cost of programs at UCLA Anderson Business Summer Camp includes full-board meals - 3 meals a day on weekdays, 2 meals a day on weekends. Normal meal schedule:

The local students and adolescents from abroad at the age of 14-18 years. can enroll in UCLA Anderson Business Summer Camp programs. Preferred knowledge of English is at intermediate level. Campus accommodation is provided strictly from the day of arrival until departure: if a student arrives earlier, then you must reserve a place outside the camp - a hotel, hostel, etc.
