The Swiss Institute of Etiquette and Protocol
Description of The Swiss Institute of Etiquette and Protocol
- Location: Switzerland
- Students’ age: The adult courses are open to men and women aged 18+. There is no upper age limit. The Youth Programme serves children and teenagers.
The Swiss Institute of Etiquette and Protocol is bringing the fine tradition of the Swiss finishing school to today’s business world, family and society.
The aim is to provide women (and for our corporate courses, also men) from all over the world with the invaluable tools required to thrive both socially and professionally in modern society.
Courses are available either to groups or privately to individuals. As much as possible, students learn by doing – whether it’s dining etiquette or practising elegant deportment.
They are based in Geneva and serve private households in Switzerland. Their individual finishing courses are offered either in the comfort and privacy of the student’s home, or another appropriate venue of the student’s choice (for example their hotel accommodation).
Lessons are taught in English or French.

To succeed in today’s fast-paced and highly pressured business world, you know you need to perform at your best. Two things that are unchanging in our world are the importance of being able to represent ourselves the very best we can, and being able to influence and collaborate effectively with others. This comprehensive seminar teaches how to present ourselves powerfully, in order to have that edge in a highly competitive environment. It is recommended for executives (and aspiring) as well as doctors, lawyers, bankers, public servants, diplomats, and anyone who is in business.
