Educational Housing Services (EHS) offer accommodation for summer, fall, spring semesters. Students can choose to stay at the EHS St. George Towers Residence in Brooklyn Heights, just a short subway ride from the Brooklyn College campus. In St. George's, the convenience of Manhattan is combined with the charm of Brooklyn. The residence is located just one stop from Manhattan (Wall Street), a short walk from the famous Dumbo district. Train 2/3 is in the same block, while trains A/C, R, 4/5 are less than 10 minutes away.

Student life at Brooklyn College is active, diverse, and multifaceted. There are 120 student clubs and organizations on campus, covering a wide range of creative, social, cultural, ethnic, media, religious, social interests. On campus there are more than a dozen fraternities, women's clubs, popular intra-corporate sports: basketball, cheerleading, cross, football, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, volleyball. Teams compete at Division III level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

Facilities and equipment at The City University of New York Brooklyn College

Brooklyn College has been beautiful since its inception in the 1930s. The original project involved the erection of classic Buildings in the Georgian style on 26 acres, along with a lily pond, gardens, grassy glades planted with elms. Classrooms, lecture halls, art studios, scientific laboratories were built according to the most modern projects.

The lily pond, gardens and elms are still here, and the four original buildings are regularly upgraded to reflect the growing needs of the campus. Light-flooded art studios, galleries have been added to the upper levels of Boylan Hall, and there is a full-service cafeteria on the lower level.

Brooklyn College has just completed the construction of a new performing arts center that will be a suitable location for award-winning performing programs. The college is at the planning stage of a new modern scientific complex.

The Brooklyn College Library serves as an intellectual and creative center of academic life. Students can bring their computer, log into a wireless network, and use one of three computer classes, including a café library that is open around the clock seven days a week (and offers Starbucks coffee).

Thanks to generous donations from Brooklyn College alumni, the center provides scholarships worth more than $100,000 a year to help students pay for internships.

The Brooklyn College Fellow program instills values, skills, and knowledge to realize their academic, professional, and personal goals.  Fellows receive a presidential scholarship of up to $4,000 per year, a laptop computer, technical support, access to study abroad, research, internships, scholarships.

Scholarship and laptop are only available to students who come directly from high school as first-semester students.
