What is the best time to apply to English schools? What should students prepare for?

At the age of 18, after graduating high school, students are naturally transitioning towards adulthood. The best time to study English abroad is before starting university, as this will give them the needed time to reflect on what career path they wish to commence.

Students should prepare for independence when studying abroad. They will be the ones in charge of studying, attending classes, cooking, cleaning, bills and laundry. Stepping out of their comfort zones is the quintessential way to discovering who they are.

My husband was transferred to San Francisco. It seems to be good (the salary became much higher, and with his language everything is fine), but at first I felt like a black sheep, because besides "How old are you?" I did not know anything.

E-mailed to the guys from SMAPSE, they advised good language courses at St. Giles San Francisco. In general, while Vadim (my husband) earned money, I spent it ^_^. In the end, very, very satisfied. Only two months have passed, and with my inability to speak languages, I can now feel free in shops and on the streets. So the level of language preparation is very decent.
