Admission to the university is based on the student's performance at the previous place of study. The entrance competition is not strict here - two people into place. Together with local citizens, foreign residents can apply for admission. The school year in the institution is classically divided into two semesters.

The cost of education is quite high: undergraduate studies cost 45,000 USD / year, and master's programs cost 20,000 USD / year, but the institution provides financial assistance to its students, trying to compensate for the costs of education. Smith College trains about 3,000 students (the percentage of foreign students is 12%). The teaching staff includes about 237 teachers.
