Smith College (SC) is a private institution of higher education that accepts only female students. The university was founded in 1871 in Northampton (USA). Smith College is also a member of the Five Colleges consortium, which allows its students to attend classes at four other institutions at Pioneer Valley: Mount Holyoke College, Amherst College, Hampshire College and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

In the national ranking, the institution is now at 164 place among the best institutions in the country. Admission to the university is based on the student's performance at the previous place of study. The entrance competition is not strict here - two people into place. Together with local citizens, foreign residents can apply for admission. The school year in the institution is classically divided into two semesters.

The cost of education is quite high: undergraduate studies cost 45,000 USD / year, and master's programs cost 20,000 USD / year, but the institution provides financial assistance to its students, trying to compensate for the costs of education.
