Quick overview: Pomfret School organizes Advanced Placement (AP) courses, which increase the chances of international schoolchildren to successfully enroll in universities. In each class there are no more than 11 students - the ratio of teachers to students is 1: 6, which makes it possible to practice an individual, personal approach and more closely monitor academic achievements. The curriculum includes the following areas:

  • English;
  • Mathematics;
  • Foreign languages;
  • Religious studies;
  • Art;
  • Humanities (social) sciences;
  • Natural Sciences;
  • Digital technologies and informatics.

In the environment of students, healthy competition reigns: children often work in a team, work on common projects, participate in competitions. This helps to learn to defend your point of view and at the same time hear the interlocutor, gives an opportunity to show personal abilities and talents, to find new ways of solving for problem situations.

Accommodation, meals, prices

At the permanent boarding school more than 77% of students study: for them on the campus there are several spacious, cozy and comfortable residences equipped with everything necessary for comfortable living. In each house there is a lounge with TV for rest and communication, a small student kitchen with the necessary furniture, and the residences are located around a large common area - "Square" - always events and celebrations are organized, discos, barbecues and parties.
