The Saskatchewan Polytechnic Institute was formed as a result of the merger of the technical and pedagogical colleges in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, later colleges from other cities of Saskatchewan joined it. The Polytechnic Institute, using the experience and resources of colleges included in its structure, creates applied training programs that cover all sectors of the Canadian economy.

SIAST students study at the Institute’s 4 campuses located in the largest cities in Saskatchewan: Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert and Mus Joe.
